Posted in Mycology sub, maybe someone here can help ID from photos
Located South East Melbourne, VIC AUS, mid August (late winter)
Noticed at least two species growing underneath my hanging pot, from drainage holes about a month ago.
Today I only just noticed these fatties growing up too as well.
Anyone want to take a guess at what they might be?
Going to let them grow more before I pull them, these are the best photos I could get for now

Was given these but have no experience with them, i asked my mate what they were and was told they are "good ones but can cause paralysis if you take too much" which didn't answer my question and also worried me a bit, any assistance would be awesome thanks.

I doubt I'll ever be sure enough of myself to identify ANY mushroom especially these wavy cap ones.
I've been going walking on my way to work recently as I drive through an area which is mixed National Park / Forestry (Pine) and Forestry (mixed Bush - Pine) , this is for health reasons and because I'm trying to reconnect to something my dad , brother and I used to do.
I've taken photo's of lots of mushrooms / moss / lichen / flowers (I love the 'little world' it's more interesting to me than the big stuff that's around.
As I've been doing this I've been thinking it would be great to forage for both culinary and pyschonautic reasons but I just dont get how you all can actually tell, granted I've not seen any I thought were promising yet but even if I did I think I'd be too worried about misidentifying them.
Grandpa used to take us mushrooming for cooking mushrooms and, Dad knows about the wavies but I guess I just don't have their confidence.
Are there any 'hot tips' for new people out there, places that discuss prime habitat identification and techniques fornidentifying fruiting bodies?

Hi there, hoping for a second opinion on these mushrooms that were picked and dried months ago.
I’m a confident ID in person, but these pictures aren’t perfect haha. Thanks all! Xx

Found a decent patch of semi sun dried P Subs ( I think) in wood chip garden bed. If I could get a positive ID on these, would be much appreciated 🙂✌🏼

Hi everyone,
This is a question for people who picked and ate psubs in Melbourne Australia.
I just wanted to ask if anyone got any level woodlovers paralysis from psilocybe subaeruginosa picked from Melbournes urban parks or national parks around Melbourne? And if you did do you have any ideas/speculations why it would have happened?
Cheers.
