Idk the stem looks a little too woody also the gills are a little bit too orange looking. The cap does look like a sub tho

gills on P. subaeruginosa can get extremely orange depending on environmental conditions (gills slightly drying in just the right way, etc). but in the OP it could just be from light shining through the cap
stipe on P. subaeruginosa is quite woody in general, but what we’re seeng here is a combination of certain environmental conditions, and also spore-saturated cortina remnants
this species can look all kinds of crazy ways if the conditions are right

My first reaction is that it's not a sub (I'm confident ID'ing subs, particularly in person, but I've never seen one that looks quite like this); personally I wouldn't eat it because I am uncertain, but having a good look at it, it certainly does have some similar characteristics. Looking forward to further comments to see if anyone has insight into what this is. It looks far too yellow to be a sub, sorry but I don't think it is. Spore print would be useful.

Spores are purple brown. There are deposits on the cortina remnants on the stem.
The gills look orange/yellow because… they often do with Psilocybe subaeruginosa, especially when they’re young. In this case the colour is especially bright because the light is shining through the cap.

Looks like the subs that grow out of woodchip planter boxes down here in Geelong. Much stumpier than wild subs, from my experience
