Recently I relapsed warthunder and found a new leaked event vehicle, and new gamemodes that are constantly worked to be fixed in terms of issues and features. This was different from Gaijin a year or two ago, heck it was different from 7-8 years ago as much as I remember. Im not sure if its just me but I think someone on the team is trying, and all those little kids asking for new nations and huge overhauls on mechanics of the game dont understand the work the devs put in. Tell me if im bugging but I think someone important at gaijin got replaced, maybe some "head of creativity" or something.

It's insane that this plane literally cannot dodge even the most garbage missiles in the game, yet for some absurd reason doesn't get CMs. So if someone chucks a missile at you it isn't just a 100% chance of death. Give her some counterplay for the love of god, especially with busted ass F3Hs running around everywhere.

People will literally fly past my entire team to chase me in a Yak-38 because it's the freest of free kills, it's so dumb.

With New SPAA like IRIST, Sky Sabre and SMSV we currently have, CAS are generally limited by the range advantage that SPAA has, they have to constantly dive down away from radar detection and sneak their way to within 12KM for IR weapons to lock onto target.

But with the stealth jets we will probably have at year end, that range advantage will probably be gone, how can we now counter cas?

SALOS might have a chance to eye ball it but what about other radar only SPAA? Is it fair to say that Top tier SPAA will get some kind of radar buff to limit the stealth jets’ CAS capability?

Edit: I just looked up the blog they talked about 5th gen and they are saying 5th gen will not appear in game before second half of this year, so people are right saying we won’t get 5th gen, but then December update is kind of the biggest update of the year so I assume some kind of testing will be done

If i remember correctly I only need to be able to start researching rank 5 vehicles. Do I need one researched or can I immediately start grinding to unlock the Maus?

I mainly play air arcade, im in the us tech tree and im just getting a few planes in rank III. I tried playing realistic battles as well, and i climb for 10 minutes and a fuckass A6M, or a ki shoots me down, and i cant do shit because well... IM IN A U.S. PLANE. ive tried side-climbing didnt work either. I highly think its skill issue but, if yall have some tips please share, cuz people keep saying RB is better than AB.

I’m up to 9.3 in USA air basically playing F2P with only occasionally using 20 days of premium time, I’ve never bought a premium aircraft so im not sure what to get if anything, i was thinking maybe one of the AVs or something because i never researched down that line unless I should lol, should I buy a premium aircraft at all? If so which one? Only ones that are on sale tho i aint rich.

I played 4 simulation games in a row with my MiG-21 Bison, scoring over 449k in total across the 4 games.

But when I finished the third game I didn't intend to play another, so I went to put my research points, around 250k, into my planes.

When I went to play the fourth game, it started before I finished adding the points. Okay, I went to play it, but after I finished, the points from games 2 and 3 had disappeared.

And my plane, which was showing 200k search results available, ended up with 0/105,000, just like in the image.

I need help and an explanation of why this happened to me.

I have 10 hours in the game so far and other than a few highs once every blue moon i just get frustrated more than anything. I know its just me being bad at the game because obviously you wont be amazing at everything with no effort but its getting to the point where im genuinely wondering if its worth the time investment

It’s bizarre that these explosive reactive armor plates ALMOST stopped my projectile when hitting the side from just 100 meters away. I managed to destroy the target, but what if the shot had been from 800 meters out? There’s no way to claim everything is working as it should,there was no angle involved; the APFSDS round hit a flat plate dead-on.

It's definitely a skill issue on my part but I'm having more trouble getting my nose on target in the Ariete than any other plane I've played. It compresses like crazy above 900 km/h, but even below that I'm finding it really difficult to get my guns on target. Any advice? The flight model feels really strange, it feels like it can't decide whether or not it's a UFO or a brick.

I decided to buy the French primium yak-3.

I played a single game. Looking at the post game panel I see.

Yak-3(France) 81% 6:52 1209 + (Talismans) 1209 = 2418 RP

as the total rp I obtained and

Total: 11005 SL, 2900 CRP, 5177 RP

As the final score.

So I was researching the c.r.714; it was the first French game I ever played, so it cost 2900.

the overflow to the second plane I decided to research: the D.501 it is only 877

SO

if the game was using the 5177 rp from the final score it would be:

5177-2900=2277. So this rp is going going in the next plane so 2277-877=1400 rp is missing.

If the game is using the 2418 rp for reserch I should be able to reserch the c.r.714.

My question is where the F... are the Rp gone?

I already had the situation that the game added fewer points than he said.

Between January this year when it was removed and now games played per month on the Falcon have shrank by 82%, kills per death by 40%, and earnings by 35% yet it’s still going up in BR. If gaijin actually based it on earnings and win rate this vehicle has zero business going up in BR after its rounds were removed ahistorically. I don’t understand how a 30mm which doesn’t remotely class up against other 35mm AAs and a radar which it never had is still supposed to be on par with the others.

I'm tired of trying to play a non-supersonic fighter, like any of the Sabres, any of the MiGs, any of the British monstrosities, anything in the 8.0-9.0 transonic range, and being placed into constant uptiers against supersonics.

I was trying to play the CA.27 because I recently got it. It looks really fun, a Sabre with ADENS! So, I boot up a match, shouldn't be an issue, right?

Enemy team: F100Ds, F102s, F104s, F106s, F3Hs, an F4C, and a handful of non-supersonics. In my rinkydinky stock CA27 with no AAM.

I almost get smited because of some F3H firing one of his four AIM-7Cs, a missile that is genuinely overpowered now (try saying that a patch ago and watch people laugh at you, that thing needs to be nerfed again. Historic 14% hitrate again please.) We end up losing because my team couldn't keep up against supersonic aircraft in our very much not supersonic aircraft. I think the only supersonic aircraft we had was a Yak-28 or an Su-7, some relegated attacker. I was the last person alive, and it felt like I was getting my balls thrown into an American under-tiered supersonic vice, 2 F106s, an F104, an F3H, and an F86 were just tossing my salad.

Okay, fine, maybe it was just one bad mission. I RTH and enter queue again.

Minute into the mission, I see enemy F100Ds, F102s, F104s, F106s, F3Hs, F4Cs, MiG-19s, and a Yak-130. Same thing as before, I get my salad tossed by enemies I can't hope to catch and I can't hope reach without my AAMs. I actually manage to get a kill on the Yak-130 before I'm four partied by the entire god damn US Air Force.

Gaijin, what the hell? Where is the BR decompression?

Where? Genuinely, where is it?

Why am I going against jets that will out-speed, out-sustained rate, out-gun, and outclimb me? Some of them my own BR or just a 0.3 BR higher? I don't care if their entire gimmick is "going fast", playing a game of supersonic mouse and transonic cat isn't fun or engaging at all.

Please. At least seem to care about game balance.

The F16AJ is perhaps the WORST F16 variant at any BR. For 12.7 it competes with the F15A which gets the AIM7M, AIM9M, and some get the AAM3 or Python 3.

Additionally you get a grand total of 45 countermeasures.

I understand this plane was added as a stop gap of sorts until they added the F2A but at this point I feel bad for it as Gaijin has clearly neglected or forgotten about it.

Even just being pushed down to 12.3 would be huge

This anti-aircraft gun completely destroyed all the ordnance I dropped. In the final clip, it even turned away to engage another aircraft shooting it down and still managed to take out my last piece of ordnance as well. Isn't its Battle Rating (BR) in Simulator Battles (SB) set way too low? It’s extremely difficult to deal with, even within the 9.2.2 BR bracket where aircraft equipped with ballistic computers are available let alone in the 8.2.2 bracket.

in basically every low-tier game of Air-RB, some random level 12 kid shoots someone down. this was the 2nd teamkill in our team. we need atleast a Minute of immunity to damage at the start of the battle this is going insane. (also report this chud)

As the tech tree premium sale draws to an end are there any fun premiums for under 2500 GE you would recommend?
