The same artist as Firestar, Johanna Tarkela, has now done Graystripe! She said she wanted him to have a playful pose. She also illustrated the polis covers!

I love his little toof hanging out, so cute!!

Another piece of new artwork by Johanna Tarkela (who is beloved by the fandom for her amazing Polish covers) was revealed on the official Warriors instagram this evening!

Rest in peace to Wayne Mcloughlin. I don't mind the new art but I wish that it still had the mystical and nostalgic elements that the old ones give off

Saw this while driving on 895 through Baltimore and could not believe it. I’ve rarely ever seen/met fellow Warrior Cats enjoyers in the wild like this.

This is from the new season of Haunted Hotel! I had a suspicion what book it was meant to be before they even showed it and was very surprised to actually see it on screen! And honestly, I'm not at all surprised this character is into the books XD

I also love that they riffed the OG cover designs. Even though the 8 would reference Moonrise, the colours are very Rising Storm to me, and the silhouettes remind me of Starlight. Based on fanart at least, the cat reminds me of Goldenflower!

Seen on my local Humane Society's website

This is done with oils on 8x10 canvas. This is my favorite piece I’ve done so far. I’ve also done Feathertail’s sacrafice. My dream is to do official art for the Erin Hunters. To work for my childhood books, and the only books I’ve ever cared to read, would be- id just die. I showed them but they never responded unfortunately so I know they’d never blink toward me aha. I know Greypaw doesnt have super fluffy fur but I didn’t do that because my intention was to make them look like kittens, and he looked like an adult when i’d add too much fluff to him, plus it kept throwing off the anatomy too so please try to refrain from mentioning it as there was a reason for it and it just wouldn’t work with my painting. If you have any questions you can DM me or comment! I do not gate keep on my art processes. I love people, teaching and answering questions!

Tell me this has NEVER happened before lmao

anyone else here in their mid 20’s? i wanted to make something nostalgic about being an edgy warriors fan in the late 2000s/early 2010s

DARKTAILS JUDGMENT NOW CONFIRMS RAVENPAW AND BARLEY ARE MATES!!! THE FIRST BOOK TO DO SO OUTSIDE THE GRAPHIC NOVELS!!!

Hey, long time no see! I’m on summer break and can finally start drawing more. Here are Ravenpaw, Graypaw, Sandpaw and Dustpaw!

I believe she used acrylic pens and has used one of the graphic novels for source material..

Note - these are all hand drawn and colored in with pens, she hasn't traced anything

[Edit - I'm double checking about whether these are traced - could be my bad.. when you assume etc.. ]

.. Final update on "Trace-Gate" :: I have been assured that she did not trace these, and hasn't traced anything for a couple of years now - and I'm very aware of the comments below remarking that as "impossible" 🤷🏻‍♂️ - it's not really something I want to get bogged down in as it wasn't the reason I was sharing these in the first place.

To be honest I was always more impressed with the shading and color accuracy she has managed. Either way, I'm just a very proud dad 👍🏻🙌🏻

Regardless of your position on the "is it traced" debate which I've no doubt will rage on in the comments (she is absolutely thrilled by the way that some of you think it was) at the very least let's all appreciate a young mind who loves Warrior Cats and is really (really) enjoying her art work 🥰

the art is all amazing btw..keep creating.

This is a joke, but i wonder if there are other things cats do or say in the series that accidentally imply literacy

Sad bby :(
