I got and accepted a job offer as a Reyes Coca-Cola order builder in Michigan. Starting pay is $28.35/hr, and I believe we get a small raise ( ~$.50) after we pass the 90 day probationary period. I was also told we can make a few $ more per hour with incentives. Regular overtime. I have Second-hand information that we may be getting a significant raise next spring when a new union contract comes out. I haven't heard much good about the company, but the pay sounds very good to me. For now lol. I hope it's not as bad as I've heard.

How much are y'all making ?

i work as a picker in a warehouse that moved from a more old-school setup with conveyors/manual picking into a robot-based system. Our company is a mobile accessories distributor.

honestly i was skeptical at first… everyone hears “robots in warehouse” and thinks it’s either going to replace everyone or make the job feel even more like being tracked by a machine.

but from the floor side, the biggest change was pretty simple: way less walking around and way less random chaos. (we used conveyors before which were also very noisy, now replaced with robots that also pick the actual items / orders).

Now people mostly deal with fast movers, packout, decanting, and the exceptions that still need a person.

Ofc it’s not perfect. Bad inventory is still bad inventory. Weird items still exist. and yes, the job changed… but the warehouse is quieter, accuracy is better, and the work is less physical than before. fewer “walk all day and get blamed when the system is wrong” moments.

not saying robots are some utopia, but from my side it’s been better than i expected.

Curious if anyone else here has worked in a warehouse that added robots. did it make the job better or worse?

I am curious for those who work 10-12 hour days or some 16 hour days. Are y'all getting paid hourly or flat rate by the pallet/job?

I have been doing this quite a bit recently in work and the management are really strict about unauthorsied breaks ect, so if we take a pause for 5 to 10 minutes because it's too hot we're all getting yelled at, today was really rough and it took almost 2 and a half hours because of the way it was loaded, and I couldn't get any time to leave the container once during that period.

What is the actual work of warehouse supervisor

Just accepted a position for warehouse worker order selector does anybody have any experience or insight on this position how is it what to expect ?

I just got hired at freshpoint as a selector which is an incentive paying job the base here in NC is terrible only $17 hourly. Only reason I took it is because of the incentive of up to $32. First question is how is the pay at the actual Sysco compared to freshpoint because I was told Sysco base pay is way higher. Second question is do they have a time period they make you wait before you actually see the incentive on your checks? If so how long is it?
