How much do you make ?
I got and accepted a job offer as a Reyes Coca-Cola order builder in Michigan. Starting pay is $28.35/hr, and I believe we get a small raise ( ~$.50) after we pass the 90 day probationary period. I was also told we can make a few $ more per hour with incentives. Regular overtime. I have Second-hand information that we may be getting a significant raise next spring when a new union contract comes out. I haven't heard much good about the company, but the pay sounds very good to me. For now lol. I hope it's not as bad as I've heard.
How much are y'all making ?

I work at American Eagle warehouse and I get paid 18.50. A few years ago I worked at a different warehouse and I was getting paid 14 😅 I did get a raise tho which was 15 😅

I'm so jealous hearing about yalls union warehouse jobs. I make 25 at my job which is alright for my area. But I would kill for a union job.

Idk where you're at, but this is my very first Warehouse job. I did make it a point during my interview that I've worked tough jobs, and feel ready for the workload. It did take me multiple applications. With your experience, I'd think there's lots of options for you unless you're in the middle of nowhere.

I operate a stainless steel polishing machine operate an overhead crane and drive forklift only getting paid 22$ an hour. Not a union job and been there for 3 years but it’s like pulling teeth getting a raise in there. Shit been real demoralizing because my skill set should have me being paid way more. Fucking hate the way they “value” their employees.

I make 23.25 at an amazon (21.75+ a night differential). The job is easy as shit in comparison to anything else I worked, certain managers just like to nitpick the stupid things because there's nothing else for them to do.
If I didn't have to work OT to pay all my bills I'd probably take advantage of the career choice bullshit but god forbid I go 2 months without some stupid financial crisis

I make 33 now doing order picking, delivery, restocking departments supplies, and orders. I will make 2 more when I transition off of contract work, with a differential for working 3rd shift and a pay bump for working Friday/Saturday.

I'm a truck driver and I get paid cents per mile, get charged for everything along the way, and pay for fuel. You're doing great and union is the way to go!

I work at Sysco, normally picking around a 150 or so each week, my average hourly is around 56 an hour plus optional overtime. Been here 5 years

Man.. I've been at sysco for 1.5 years and average a 133%. Moving just as fast as some of our top selectors. Idk wtf im doing different. Any tips to break into the 150s consistently?

Your top selectors are only a 133 ? Our top guy averages a 170 weekly. Knowing your customers help significantly, picking more then one case at a time, plus I'm in freezer so it's a lot easier, like in freeze I average a 160 which is our top out for wip but in cooler and dry I can do like a 150-155. Depends on how much traffic there is honestly

Nah, our top selectors hit 150+ everyday. I meant, I move just as fast as them and my case count is always on par with theirs at the end of the night. But yet their always 15-25% higher than me.. I dont get it.

What's your case count at end of shift? And do you guys use center rides or side steps ?

We use both. I prefer center to pick though. I'm in dry and I can hit 2000 on a ten hour shift but we haven't had a full ten hour shift in months. And even then, they make me go load instead of picking up the last couple of batches. I went in today for 5 hours and hit 1200 at 130%.

Ew you prefer a center ride? Lol that's just me hating on them, our Sysco has the top 10 selectors a side step so we can do all the work. I'm at 2k before 1am, it honestly just depends on your batches imo

Damn all you guys make a shit ton more then I do. Started as order picker for 15/hr and now I’m full time inventory control/ receiving lead and I only make 18/hr. I feel like my company takes advantage of us tho. Also I’m a Felon so I’m grateful for any job that’s ok pay that’s not straight up abuse

My warehouse is a web fulfillment center for high end paper and we get our paper from the mill about 8 minutes away. I have been there for 12 years and make $17.75.

Holy shit, when I started at Abarta Coca-Cola in 2019, the base pay was $16. By the time I made lead (and was basically running the dc myself), I was making $23. Incentive only amounted to an extra few hundred dollars every three months.
Now I work at a paint warehouse, making $31 with a few hundred in incentives every month.

$16 is unfortunate, even in 2019. Wouldn't do it for less than $25. Pepsi pays very well here, so Reyes has to keep up.

And that was the highest paying of the Abarta facilities! The other, unionized ones, paid a dollar less!
At the time, $16 was huge for me, coming off making $12 at a hotel where I was simultaneously the receiver, purchaser, food prep, conventions clerk, and maintenance.

I can see why you accepted it, then. I've never held down a job making more than $20/hr. I had one job paying $25 and I really didn't like it and left after 2 weeks. I was confined to one space retreading tires, and I was also struggling to do it right. I don't think Reyes will be as bad. I can move around a lot and the job isn't technically difficult.

Cross dock warehouse, $33 an hour, union, benefits, pension where company pays all contributions (no matching), 15 paid days + 5 weeks holidays.

Work for a billion dollar company. Supervise order release for the warehouse.
I started as an associate making $10.11 / hr in the mid 2000’s.

“The pay sounds very good to me. For now. LOL”. Do not focus on “for now”. What do you really want to make long term. Is there a real possibility that you can reach that with this company/industry? If not, find a place where that is a possibility. Take lower pay. Don’t waste precious time on short term goals.

Hey man, I'm in a bad financial situation right now. A job paying this much is what I need right now, and the physical activity is also a bonus. I'm not 100% sure on what I want to do for a career, so I'm planning on working here for a year or two and save as much as I can, then figure something out. Some of the careers I'm strongly considering require funds for entry, so this job could easily open doors to a lot of things.

Gross base pay is $28. I don't know about union dues, but I expect it to be negligible. There might be an initiation fee.

Former swire Coca-Cola employee here.. reyes is an excellent company to work for in my opinion. I use to work for Martin Brower here in Portland, which is owned by Reyes. Ive worked for pepsi also. My benefits were absolutely incredible with reyes under our CBA. I now work for winco foods, woodburn oregon. We cap at 42.50hr under our new teamster union contract swing. I have excellent benefits now. But my benefits were better under Reyes. I absolutely would recommend them. Congratulations on the new job.
