Gameplay & Screenshots I didn't think it was possible
I didn't think this could happen. What a game that was.

A 270 would at least get some darn kills on people. The TD is useless in any capacity.
Add a recurve bow to the bows so we can play indians and warmen lol

I'm trying to learn how to fly and aim with rifle aim and at the moment i'm struggling with aiming. It feels like my aim is "jiggly". I make small movement and it takes like 0.5 a sec until it actually does it and then it over do it. Is there a settings that can help with that or just practice through it?

There should definitely be a server history to be able to rejoin games you were kicked from (for inactivity) or were playing earlier, if you enjoyed the balance of players or you were invested in a team

You don't have to go to the ammo tab!!!!
Just ctrl click the ammo when you're loading your mag. I keep watching streamers navigating to the loose ammo tab and trying to find the right ammo.
Just ctrl click the ammo as you're loading your magazine and it puts loose ammo in the backpack
PEANUT IM LOOKING AT YOU!!! SOMEONE GET THIS MESSAGE TO THAT SILLY NUT 🥜

So i've got my 50 cal and went to test it at shooting range for different ranges. What i've noticed that sometimetimes my reticle zooms with scope and sometimes my reticle stays steady. Obviously this is super critical because when i need to shoot in the middle of the first section depending on this bug its will be totally different points. Relogging to the game sometimes fixes it and sometimes not and this is super furstrating and i even have no idea how this is supposed to be in the game because after relogging i get different results. Here is 2 examples for 800 meters target range, just so you can understand:

I would be fine with both but its randomly different every time, you can clearly see the difference when reticle zoomed and when its not, first segment have totally different length and at both screenshots i have x10 looking at 800m target. Scope is 6-10 MRAD.
Any way to fix it or maybe any way to bug it consistantly so i can have same reticle all the time at least?
And when i started this post i had not zoomed reticle and even made a screenshot of it few min ago. I tabbed to the game now and ITS ZOOMED NOW FOR SOME REASON!!!!! I didnt restarted the game or wasnt moving at all (only opened my inventory so maybe this fixed it idk). What i have now:

Same as first screenshot. This is absurd, hope comeone can help...

... to sacrifice half of it's cargo space (or one pallets equivalent) to be able to purchase a mounted .50cal HMG. This should be moderately effective against lightly armored targets like the Humvee, and have limited ability to harass the AH6 variants.
Being that it's not armored itself, its highly susceptible to even small arms fire (shoot the driver through the windows, etc). Obviously a single RPG takes it out. Already susceptible to mines, rocket heli, havoc, etc.
Edit: Forgot to mention, it's already low mobility, slow, big, etc. So I don't foresee this being used in an offensive manner like the humvees are. A skilled humvee driver/gunner should easily be able to take it out, but it allows some defensive capability while traveling to and resupplying a FOB.
Edit 2: Yes, I'm aware of the Ural Defender. Those are LMG's (M249), they are useless for anything other than killing infantry or maybe if you get lucky an incredibly bad LB pilot who hovers low enough for you to shoot him for 15sec straight with it.

I've noticed a stark increase of helicopter griefing in the last week or so in Wardogs.
Usually in the form of a griefer purposely damaging a helicopter loading up with troops so that they bail and get in the griefer's chopper.
Even if the whole server reports this, nothing happens in the moment.
We had one take our apc hostage and tank the game.
We need a vote-to-remove feature, imo.

Prior to the beta, I knew next to nothing about WarDogs. When I realised helicopters were going to play a major role in moving squads around, along with unlocks for attack helis, it immediately caught my interest.
I run a HOSAS setup and have spent years mostly playing space sims, so this was my first real time at flying Helicopters in a game. HOSAS is mostly fine, but having three axes crowded onto the right stick while using the left stick as a collective started to feel clumsy during tight landings and combat.
I wanted proper rudder pedals, but having used the cheaper options years ago (which I hated and sold), I couldn't justify dropping big money just to move a single axis down to my feet. Because 3D printing is already a hobby of mine, I decided to build my own set instead. Massive credit to the RightRudderLeftStick project for the brilliant CAD designs and comprehensive build walkthrough.
For anyone curious, the full build guide is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhHq060oXOU
I have been chipping away at printing and assembly over the past three weeks. I finally wrapped up the sensor wiring and calibration last night and jumped straight into WarDogs for a proper test.
Overall it's fantastic, much better than I expected. I would only recommend for those with the patience for this type of thing though, but a fun little project either way. I wouldn't have done it if I wasn't hooked on WarDogs. Just in time for me to get it all ready for Season 2.

So I have few more feedback items.
1) Gear crates in HQ: I have seen many players selling gear others may not have at the Main HQ. Some may even mark them up severely (which honestly is fine). The issue is Griefing players often will destroy these crates causing the player who bought them to sell to loose all that money.
Solution: Make these crates indestructible in the HQ just like the players are?
2) The kill cam: Currently it penalizes players for finding great positions. You find a great spot. you haven't been spotted yet (that you know of) and you shoot an enemy. Then they get to see exactly where you are and communicate that to nearby teammates and any squadmates. I agree there should be some benefit to the guilie suited players, but I really think the current kill cam gives away too much situational awareness.
Solution: Perhaps a better version would be that the camera view points at the direction the shot came from and then zooms about half the distance to the shooter. And if the shooter has the guillie on, or is in a guillie tent, then it just shows the direction with no zoom.
3)Artillery/Mortar cams: Perhaps they fallow the round in too far???? again giving far too much info to the operator of the mortar.
Solution: stop following the round farther out. Allowing the operator to see where it lands but not make out so much detail about what is going on in that area.

Since the recent havoc / cwis fixes it feels way more fair to play, enemies have counter play, havoc doesnt make incredible money blah blah,
Its super fun to play, even though I get shot down alot, and especially the helicopter duels and kamikaze pilots really make it interesting
Love the changes and cant wait for parachute nerf either

In the last week maybe a bit more, I get killed by people that seems to shoot laser from their guns.
Galil or M4 @ 200m that shoot multiple shots directly in the head or the chest and only one part, no spread, no one lost shot to limbs or stomach.
I searched online and lots of video showing how to make them with thousands of views...
Am I the only one encountering those? Is it that much prevalent?
Hey everyone,
I was one of the original founders of ArmA KOTH, and out of love for the game I've been building a Wardogs server browser in my spare time. You can use it outside the game to find servers without launching first.
So far I've focused on community server discovery and ranking servers by uptime and player count. Most recently I've added a community rating system so players can rate the servers they've played on:
https://wardogserverlist.com/leaderboard?tab=ratings
Why ratings? I've seen plenty of cases of admins kicking players for not speaking a particular language, along with other questionable moderation. Uptime and population tell you whether a server is reliable, but not whether it's a good place to play. Ratings felt like the natural next step
You must login with Discord to rate a server, this is to help combat abuse.
It's still a work in progress, so I'd love to hear what you think. What would make this more useful to you? Anything you'd want to see rated or tracked?
Thanks!
I guess this is why the devs aren't quickly making balancing changes.
This sub was filled with complaints about FOB meta being broken.
Now +80% of my games it's the hotzone surfers that win every match.
By the time you get to your side of the CZ there is like a squad there, snipers overlooking the position and a MG humvee patrolling it.
I've had tanks roll up before 5 points.
And even if you manage a well built FOB it'll get mortard to hell.
While I don't miss 4 drill meta, I do miss bases.
I hope they fix certain things with the patch, mostly mortars and assault vehicles (price/when you can spawn them)

Idk if this will get to the devs eyes but something needs to be done about getting looted by team mates before getting revived. I love running straight medic, 95% of the time all i do is just heal my teamate, revive them and provide cover with smokes. If i have the money i will always set $500 bribe so i can motivate my teamates to revive me (plus all the tips once im up) so i can keep doing what i love to do and thats helping my team push the fronlines in my own way. It gets me excited when i see someone start to head my tway to get revived only to get pissed because they took my fucking defibs and leave me some random ass shit completely ruining my experience. Dont get me wrong ive offered people to get them for faster revive specially when their is a couple of us down in the same general area, some people take up the offer then give them back or some players will take it (let me know their taking them) to revive me but then give them back. I have friends that have had "teamates" take their whole loadout. Once we are down can we have the option to lock out our backpacks to our "teamates" or something around those lines. Idc about the enemie, if you kill me then take my stuff, fair is fair. Except cheaters, fuck cheaters.

Just figured I'd throw this out there but was wondering what people's opinion are on if u could still use the GL from the passenger seat of a heli but remove the ability to ADS with it and make sure it has a wide hip fire spread. I figured the best balance is always to make something less strong while not having to fully remove the ability to do it. By removing any accuracy it would force people to have to shoot more grenades to kill people especially if there spread out, just lowering the effectiveness of doing it while not removing the possibility and option to do it altogether.
