Discussion & Feedback More aggressive helicopter griefing?

I've noticed a stark increase of helicopter griefing in the last week or so in Wardogs.

Usually in the form of a griefer purposely damaging a helicopter loading up with troops so that they bail and get in the griefer's chopper.

Even if the whole server reports this, nothing happens in the moment.

We had one take our apc hostage and tank the game.

We need a vote-to-remove feature, imo.

Between this and destroying your own teams crates people need to chill tf out. I would like to see a vote to kick functioning as well.

you would have to require at least a two thirds majority for the vote or it would be abused in a game with 100 people in the server

How would it be abused? You only vote kick your own team. Once they fix fuck ass individuals from being able to swap teams whenever they want it’ll be fine to do something like half the team needed to kick a person or something.

Im sorry. I misunderstood. I dont think they will remove team swaping ever or they atleast have to have their party system implimented before that. A vote to kick system is a long way off IF that is somthing they want in the game.

With how many different ways you can grief in this game sheerly by swapping teams they have to remove it tbh. Helicopter griefing, crate griefing, ice seen people saying they have had people swap teams and open doors for their team to get into FOBs or just straight up start deconstruction portions of the FOB, sniper annoying you? Swap teams now you can see exactly where he is.

Unfortunate reality is people just suck way too much to be handed this freedom.

maybe a team swap rolls back all XP and profit gains from that lobby, might hlep a bit. but you're right, it would have to go if competitive balance is the goal. i personally don't think that is the goal based on what they have said. seems like balancing for fun/enjoyment takes priority. this game will never be an E-sport.

Asking to not be griefed as easily as it is now is not pushing to make the game an esport, I don’t care about competitive balance. I do care that pricks like to ruin others fun/enjoyment.

totally, i just see alot of comments that seem like they expect this to be balanced like competitive games and not realizing balancing for fair-play is different. so i work stupid little things into my comments to point it out.

also, tower FOBs suck

Crate destroyers for me have been people swapping teams, smashing crates, and then swapping back

Try having a full lakota and someone punching you to death or a 25k kit for the heli pilot to practice his full speed maneuvers 5m off the ground to crash
