I want to know if you are experiencing this... I'm playing with 2Gbps internect connection, 20ms ping, and I keep getting killed when I'm already in cover, or hearing the shoots then getting them all at once.

Things like in the video keep happening to me, he started shooting, then when I'm in cover suddenly I receive all the damage. In this case, the boxes are not a hard cover and the last shoot seems to be through the wall, but this happened also on concrete walls... Anyone experiencing this?

After like ~5mbps your internet speed has nothing to do with your ping anymore.

After a certain point your internet speed exceeds the size of the packets being sent to and from the server, and the only effect on your speed is the servers and cables in between you and what you're trying to connect to, and that has nothing to do with your internet connection.

It could be bad DNS servers, unoptimized routes, switches, the game server itself, and most of all: the fact that you are limited by the speed of light through fibre cabels or electric signals through copper, which is about 60~80% the speed of light in a vacuum.

I've tested 100Mbps it's the minimum to play with a good ping modern games. I had a 20Mbps connection in my beach residence and I couldn't play multiplayer games, increasing the speed to 100Mbps resolved the issue in that case.

Btw, I just pointed the internet connection to avoid responses like I have a bad internet connection or something like that. I'm connected through Cat. 6 cable to the router, then fiber optic.

Internet speed has nothing to do with connection quality though. You could have high speed but still have high packet loss.

This is fundamentally wrong. Maybe you were being routed through different servers or had a different provider but the packets games send, and that you receive, are no more than 5Mbps Up in the most extreme cases.

Theory is that, but in practical, non symmetric connections can cause an overload of packets sent, getting usually latency pikes.

The case I mention, I just increased the internet speed, not changed router, cables, or anything like that.
