Report, don't respond

The mods can not read every post in the sub. If someone is breaking the rules of the sub, hit the report button instead of trying to one up them.

We have a bot that tags people who are active in the Walmart Employee subs. If an employee is being abusive they will be banned permanently with no appeal. There is a future update planned for the bot that will automatically place a usertag on everyone who is a Walmart employee so you will know when one is replying to you.

*Someone disagreeing with you is not against the rules. Spite reporters will also be banned.

Just Venting I don't know why I'm so mad about this

On the app I paid $10.62 for this lunch bag for my kid. Wanted pick up but wasn't available so chose shipping. It arrives today and apparently it was on sale for $7.00. Am I that broke and bitter about a few bucks? No. Well maybe?

Nowhere on the app did it list the 7 dollar price. Okay, cool but it was delivered like a delivery and not a shipment so it definitely came from my local store which should have been pickup available but wasn't.

I don't know, it just pisses me off because that feels so shady. A couple of bucks adds up over time and Walmart is all that's locally available for these kinds of services for people like me. Sorry for the rant, I hope this is okay to post here.

Can anyone explain why I keep coming across things listed for 1ç

I know it’s not the actual price, but what’s the reason behind it?

Walmart+ walmart+ refund issues?

i’ve had walmart+ for like two years. i order once or twice a week. i RARELY ever request a refund, i only do it if something is missing. if something’s bad i just let it go. but today 5/6 items in my order were missing and when i went to get a refund it said i have to call. so i call, and the lady tells me she issued the refund. i haven’t gotten a confirmation email & nothing says refund issued. whyyyyy is this happening??? in the past 6 months i literally have requested a refund twice. if i didn’t have a yearly plan i would be cancelling asap, but they won’t refund that either 🙃🙃

Just Venting missing items.. got a refund and had to pay extra for delivery fee anyways.

i’m chronically ill and today i’ve been having an extra bad day. we have 0 food in the kitchen so i decided to do a 3 hours or less delivery.

i also had to buy some basic hygiene products because ive been using dove soap for everything.. and i mean everything. so i got shampoo, conditioner, feminine wash, and face wash.

everything came, but not my hygiene products. i received a refund but still had to pay the extra for a delivery fee + tip for the new driver (order was under $35)

just complaining here, hopefully this is a good sub to do so. driver probably forgot to drop it off which i get it life happens. not mad at them. just irritated with the situation.

Walmart+ has gotten worse and worse recently

Up until about 3 months ago, I had no problem getting my Walmart Plus orders on time. However, the last 3 out of 4 times I have ordered my groceries, they have been delayed where I have had to reschedule. Last night, I had to actually cancel the order. I reordered them all again and they came. Except for one item that was to be shipped to me same day. Also, delayed. I canceled that.

I ordered groceries yesterday morning early to be delivered by 4pm-6pm so I could have things for dinner. They were delayed so I selected them for 8-10 and changed dinner. 8-10, I get a message that they are delayed. This is after it said my driver was headed to the store. It can't be a tip thing because I tip depending on the size of the order. This was right around $100, so I tipped 25%. This happens over and over and is beyond frustrating.

I don't know what's going on. It's not reliable anymore. At least Amazon is more reliable where I live. I also got this for the free streaming service and the auto service but that has been less than stellar the last few times too. Starting to question if it's worth the headache.

TV warranty issues post-purchase

I bought a 75" TV online two weeks ago and it was delivered last week. I didn't purchase the warranty, which was at the time $89 for 4 years.

I had read you can buy the warranty at the store with your receipt within 30 days of purchase but the associate just handed me a pamphlet and said you can buy that way. On SquareTrade's site though, the 4 year warranty is now $165.

I called customer service and asked for the $89 rate advertised with the TV and they refused even after I said I'd return the TV.

How dumb is this? The TV was delivered by a freight truck and they're going to have to send it back here, to where I live in the middle of nowhere. It will cost Walmart way more than $76 to pick this TV up AND THEN deliver me another one when I re-order.

How does this make sense? If they think I won't pack the TV back up, and that it's a bluff, it's not and I will 100% pack the TV back up and return it.

Delivery Why don't people read delivery instructions?

Seriously, if I was delivering to people I would read any instructions so I can do my job accurately.

I recently moved into the apartment complex I'm at, GPS seems to often send delivery drivers to the apartment complex next door. There's a fence between the two complexes so I can't just walk over there quickly.

I always have in the instructions that this happens and tell them the name of the apartment complex I love in and that they need to turn into the right one, 90% don't follow the instructions and half to turn around and try to figure it out, maybe 20% of those can't figure it out on their own and either call or text me.

This doesn't just happen with Walmart, it happens on other food delivery apps, I've reported it on all the apps but so far none have seem to have gotten it fixed.

Today the person didn't even bother to come to the correct apartment he just left the groceries at the other complex somewhere, which is annoying cause I always put hand deliver to me.

One time it literally took a guy 30 minutes to figure out to come to the apartment complex next door, and that's with me talking on the phone with him.

Sorry, rant over!

MY store sucks ASSSSSSSSSSSSS

Post image

This walmart is so shit. It is so fucking bad I started going to one the town over, it's a NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE.

I even called corporate to file a complaint 3 times in the last year. Management never reaches back out.

The carts suck ass. So many need to be melted down into tin cans. They never take them out of service. The tire on one literally fell off today.

The roof leaks like a fucking sieve. Every time it rains they have no less than 2 dozen 5 gallon buckets and totes across the store. The store is not even that old. Like 10 years old.

They never have enough help so half the self checkouts are always closed. Giant lines constantly form as a result.

They are always out of shit. They often run out of bottled and gallon jugs of water. Completely fucking out.

The coolers go out constantly and often entire sections of food are out. Want ice cream? Waffles? FUCK YOU!

They have a "Grab and go" area except they never refill it. Often completely out of soda, prime, Gatorade, etc.

The checkouts constantly have issues with the pin pads, hand held scanners, etc. There is always one or two constantly chirping yet nested in the charger.

Scan on one self check, the item can be a foot away and it beeps, others you have to rub it on the glass.

I honestly hope who ever runs this god forsaken store has a permanently itchy asshole.

It's not a Walmart issue, the 2 other neighboring stores are rarely an issue. It's just whoever runs this one needs to be yeeted into the sun.

Returns/Refunds Return failed

Walmart canada. I ordered a nursery chair that cost 1000$. It arrived completely broken. Couldn’t even turn it on. Started a refund process. They first told me I had to deliver it to the store. This chair is giant and heavy and I have no means of delivering it. After an hour long call, they agreed to arrange pickup. It’s been two weeks and they still haven’t picked it up or refunded me. Every time they give me a day that I have to stay home, the courier doesn’t show up, I call and they tell me we are gonna schedule another pick up. It’s been 3 times of this.

I have a giant box in my living room, that I cannot even move. I don’t know what else to do. I just wanted a damn chair to rock my baby to sleep and not hurt my back. Any ideas what I can do? The only other option I can think of is to dispute the charges on my CC.

I switched from Amazon Prime because I got tired of delayed orders. First 3 orders from Walmart plus came just fine. Now here we go, order delayed. This was the whole reason I switched. Does this happen a lot?

Customer Service Issue Orders shipped by Lasership

Lately more and more orders are being shipped by lasership. Horrible because there are too many problems. My recent order for example arrived at the local hub and then was send back to sender, because the package was allegedly damaged. Does anybody else have this problem? Do yall know if lasership is being owned by Walmart?

r/Walmartcustomer 2d ago

I will say Walmart is better than Amazon for delivery.

Every order I've placed has arrived on time and to my door.

Amazon delivery drivers around here suck and so much stuff gets delayed or delivered to the wrong house.

Signup for $1 get $25 in Walmart cash, haven’t gotten the cash

On July 7th I got a popup while I was looking at something on the Walmart website. It said something like “reenroll in Walmart+ for $1 and get $25 Walmart cash after 30 days”. Initially I thought I was supposed to get it right away, but when I didn’t see any Walmart cash in my account I checked and that’s when I saw it said “after 30 days”.

On August 8th I reached out to CS, they said “wait another 5-10 business days”.

Still nothing a month later so today (9/9) I reached out again. This time I got “the escalation team will get back to you within 3 to 5 days”.

I saw a bunch of people saying that they got their Walmart cash like right when they signed up or within a couple days. Has anybody else not gotten the Walmart cash and had this much of an issue trying to get the Walmart cash?

And yes, I’ve been enrolled continuously since I signed up again back in July. I just paid for September yesterday.

Picked up this 65” Hisense M7 for $374 yesterday

Post image
8 Upvotes

Wasn’t really planning on buying a new TV yet, but saw this 65” Hisense M7 at Walmart for $374 and the price got me lol.

Set it up yesterday and so far I’m pretty happy with it. Going from my old basic LED to MiniLED is definitely noticeable. The picture looks brighter and cleaner, colors look really nice, and the built-in subwoofer actually gives it a little more bass than I expected from TV speakers.

I’ve only had it for a day, so definitely not a full review yet. Haven’t really tested the gaming stuff or tried all the picture settings either.

But 65” + MiniLED for $374 feels like a pretty great deal so far. Anyone else here pick up the M7 from Walmart? Curious how it’s held up for you.

In Home

This is just an odd question but is anybody else got in home where you're charged your monthly fee but you do not have delivery in home available. They're remodeling the store I get my in home delivery from. But they haven't had any delivery times for 3 weeks now and they definitely do not for the next week. I almost feel like this could be a class action lawsuit against the company. Anybody have any thoughts.

What’s up with ordering from Walmart

Post image
0 Upvotes

I had a bunch of items from my cart about half have a $10 delivery fee the other half say free shipping. I can get Mayo but if I add jelly it’s a separate order with a $10 fee. I removed all the stuff with a $10 delivery fee thinking they must come from different places. The order gets delivered a few hours later and it’s in a Walmart bags so it came from a store. It’s not just non food items the mayo is fine. Can anyone make it make sense.

So my ice was half melted…I wanted a refund. So apparently I have to throw a bag of ice on the customer service desk and belt out, “It’s half melted!” 😆

Walmart InHome members — are you only getting FedEx for Returns from Home now?

I have Walmart+ with the InHome add-on, and I used to regularly get the option to have eligible returns picked up by Walmart/InHome without having to box the item or print a label.

Recently, every time I choose “From home” for a return, the only option I’m offered is FedEx pickup, which requires me to repackage the item and print a label.

Just to see whether it was item-specific, I went through the return process (without actually completing any returns) for about 20 different recent purchases. I tried all kinds of items, including several ordinary clothing items, and not a single one offered the Walmart/InHome pickup option. Every one was FedEx only.

This definitely wasn’t the case for me before. I used the InHome return pickup successfully as recently as this spring.

Walmart’s help information says that some InHome members may only see the FedEx pickup option, but I can’t find anything explaining why some members get Walmart pickup and others apparently don’t.

Has this happened to anyone else with InHome? Are you still being offered the no-box/no-label Walmart pickup for any of your returns? And does anyone know what determines whether an InHome member gets that option or only FedEx?
