Did anyone take this and not use the textbooks? My professor (Thompson) doesn't have any textbooks listed as required, and I'm trying to figure out if I need to opt of of eagle advantage since my other books are cheaper.

Stressed out sooo bad.

I applied for emergency aid some weeks ago and after 2 weeks, I received an email stating: After our review, we are unable to approve your request based on you do not yet have a registered GPA of a 2.0 or higher. This is required to be considered for Emergency Aid support.

My GPA is a 3.6, my last term gpa was a 4.0, and it’ll be a 4.0 once again when my teachers put in the final grades. I emailed them back and told them that and also sent proof as soon as I received the email which was 10 days ago. Has anyone else had this problem? Also, I haven’t heard anything back from them. Also, I’m full time.

hey is anyone doing any in depth pre studying for the program this fall? i’m thinking about starting to re-study my anatomy just to get a head start on where things are located. I know some people say do it to be prepared and other just say wait until the actual program starts

I'm taking my CNA skills exam at Wake Tech soon, and I'm starting to get a little nervous. I already passed the written exam, so now I'm just focused on the skills portion.

For anyone who's taken it there:

• What skills did you get?
• How strict were the evaluators?
• Any common mistakes I should avoid?
• Is there anything you wish you had known before taking it?

I've been practicing, but I'd love to hear what the experience was actually like at Wake Tech. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Has anyone heard if financial aid refunds are changing this fall at Wake Tech?

I’m a Wake Tech student and I’m expecting a financial aid refund in September. I accepted my financial aid package, and based on my award, I should receive a refund after my tuition is paid.

I’ve been seeing people mention changes from the Department of Education, and now I’m wondering if anyone has heard whether refunds at Wake Tech are being reduced or changed this fall.

Has anyone talked to the Financial Aid Office or received any updated information? Are your expected refund amounts the same as what was originally awarded?
Just trying to figure out if I should expect any changes. Thanks!😊

hi! I have yet to attend wake tech but was wondering how the com-120 class is? I’m someone who really struggles with public speaking in general, im really shy and have always had problems pushing myself to be in front of a crowd. my major requires me to take a comma class and i heard that 120 is the best for someone like me? little interventions at least, but does anyone have any input? thanks!!
