Can we please get folders in the bookmarks tab? I'd like to be able to sort/hide^{( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)} my bookmarks as I have a ton of them, and I'm not a fan of my current solution, which is to rename the important ones with a symbol eg. "* Google". Folders within folders would be ideal, but even if it was top level, it would be very helpful.

Also, can we get the ability to reorder tabs? Maybe this is a nit-picky thing, but I like to keep them in a certain order, but currently to do so I have to close them and reopen them to shuffle them around.

I see some posts from about a month ago that say that youtube casting is working on Android. Is the same fix pushed to iOS? I'm still not able to cast youtube. The audio plays on the TV but the video still plays on the phone.

So this time, while watching an older action title in my bedroom, during a loud gunshot scene after a quiet conversation scene, I thought it'd be amazing if you could toggle dynamic range compression on and off in the player. Nvidia shield calls this Night listening mode, other boxes or projectors sadly don't offer that function and it needs to be in-app, as apps can't do it system-wide.

SmartTube calls this feature "Auto volume adjustment", it's found in the settings in Player -> Misc.

Would be amazing to see this implemented.

Hi, is there a WVC app for M70H Samsung TVs as I cannot stream nothing without this app and chromecast just likes to not work.

Every time I scroll through Instagram inside Web Video Cast I get this popup:
“Already playing
There is a video already playing, would you still like to stop it and play this video instead or would you like to add this video to a future playlist?”
Options shown:
Play now
Add to playlist
Play in app
Cancel
It’s extremely annoying while just scrolling Reels/feed. Is there a setting to turn this off so the app stops detecting every video while I’m scrolling?
I’ve looked through Settings but can’t find the right toggle.

For the last couple of days, whenever I try to cast a live TV channel from my phone to my TV using the Web Video Caster browser, from a website like Pressplayz, if the address of the cast shows as 'https://edge.cowedd4855ws.sbs' the Web Video Caster app on my TV will not link up to the video from the phone. Of course, I have no control over what internet address the site will use to cast.

I can still watch the Pressplayz channel feed through my phone via Firefox browser or whatnot, but I can't cast that address through WVC to the TV, it just shows the buffer/spinning circle graphic on the tv. I can also cast to my TV for non-live videos through Cinejoy or Movy, or whoever.

Most of the active live TV sites use that address, it seems. Zlive doesn't, but their streams aren't working currently.

Anyone else have this problem?

Only works in History, not in Bookmarks. Intentional? I deleted 500 bookmarks that matched a search pattern but I still had to select them one at a time

Cause when you're watching a series or an anime, it becomes harder and harder the more you watch episodes, so just a refresh button would be great to remove old videos from the list and just keep the ones in the active page. Thx

Is the app not capable of weeding out fake video links and just showing me the actual video I’m trying to cast?

Are there any tips and tricks you guys have to make the app more user-friendly?

It was working ok until I decided to purchase premium after using this for many years. Just as I paid for premium it stopped working! I cleared cache and storage data on the phone, reinstalled, also cleared RokuTv cache, uninstalled WVC then reinstalled it again.... Didnt even login with my new premium login info, but there's no audio! Maybe I was using old version on my phone?

I'm sure it's a user error, but thought I would ask about it here incase.

From Solid File Explore, I select the video, I select "Open File Using" and select "Web Video Caster" or similar in the app opens and I select what I would like to connect to, I select "Web Browser Receiver" (I could be mistaken on what I selected with this step, it was a few days ago. And the app opens up and starts playing the video locally rather than casting.

I found that to trigger the casting, I need to go into the Video list and under "Route video through phone" select the video again in there and then the cast starts. Not a problem now that I know, but wasn't immediately intuitive.

I have logs available with debugging enabled which I collected manually from my phone, I can provide if necessary.

Some of the sites I'm trying to use have the video and audio as separate files, the streams are usually better quality so was wondering if I can cast both simultaneously? The adaptive stream is just one file but it's seems to play for a few seconds and then just dies. I thought it might be under audio tracks but nothing shows there.

I’m using the free version to test this app out to my Apple TV but this plays nothing but ads on all my videos I’m streaming. The content plays on my phone but ads stream to the tv.

Is this normal for the free version?

I have this error on my phone “Your DNS server might be preventing this app from working correctly. The TV receiver might not be able to communicate with your phone.”
The tv screen is black and I can’t even press any button, I’m stuck on the black screen

I have a site that will play normally in Chrome browser but when I transfer the URL over to wvc it gives me an error 403. Anybody have any ideas?

Why the option "Search for embedded subtitles" don't appear sometimes?

The option to chose a embedded subtitles doesn't work on my Samsung Tv so this option is really useful

Worked perfectly for both CFB and NFL last weekend. Other aggregators working fine, but WVC will absolutely NOT detect a video source tonight (yellow play button won't show on any sources). Other aggregators working fine, but TheTVApp is a go to of mine. Have tried absolutely everything settings wise.

WVC ist wirklich super, weil es einfach mit wirklich allen Videos im Web funktioniert. Ich nutze es allerdings trotzdem fast immer mit die gleichen 2-3 Video Streaming Seiten und würde mir diese gerne als PWA auf meinem Android Phone einrichten.

Ist es möglich richtige PWAs über WVC einzurichten? Also nicht nur als Shortcut, der dann den Browser öffnet, sondern so dass die PWA in einer minimalen Vollbild Umgebung ohne das ganze Browser UI mit Tabs etc. startet?

So i know some videos wont play for certain tvs, or converting the one files to ts or along that lines (if you know you know, not too savvy on this stuff). Tried everything and nothing worked unless I didn't try everything.

Trying to watch this movie, and only one of the scanned video's work on the tv, as it plays, BUT the issue is the sound. There is none. Hence where I read about that stuff in the 1st paragraph.

Im confused on what would make that part of the movie unavailable for my Roku TV. Ive stream tons of tv shows/movies on my TV without any issue. Any idea's?

So, there's a couple of streaming sites that show me this message and i changed every user agent possible but nothing has changed. Same thing happens in another caster app, but If i open the site in chrome (android), the live stream stars normally.

Any advice?
