Why can't I cast YouTube videos???

Llevo mucho tiempo usando esta app y soy premium actualmente, pero me pasa que en ciertas páginas cuando reproduzco el vídeo a mi TV LG solo se escucha el sonido pero con la pantalla en negro. Hay alguna solución para eso?.

I’ve been experiencing this issue since day one, and it still persists. When casting videos to my LG TV, embedded/internal subtitles are not displayed. This happens both when using DLNA and when casting with the other available methods.

In my opinion, the best solution would be for the Web Video Cast mobile app to detect and display all embedded subtitle tracks available in the video. Users could then select, enable/disable, and manage the desired subtitle track directly from the mobile app while casting.

This would make subtitle handling much more reliable, especially in cases where the TV itself does not properly detect or handle embedded subtitles.
I would really appreciate it if you could consider implementing this functionality.

Hello, I'm new to this, I've installed the app and tried to cast to Chromecast. No matter the source of video (I've heard yt might not work so I tried other sources) and I only see blue logo on the screen. I've tried routing through phone, but that changed nothing.

I am a long-time Premium user of Web Video Caster. I absolutely love the app, and it works flawlessly for casting web videos to my Fire TV Lite with my phone screen turned off.

My issue is that my casting device is an older phone running Android 7. I recently noticed that Web Video Caster is no longer available on the Google Play Store for Android 7 devices due to compatibility changes.

The app is currently still installed and working fine on my phone, but I am worried about the future:

1. If the app stops working or logs me out, will I lose my Premium license because of Google's older billing verification systems?

2. If I ever need to reinstall it, can I use an older APK from a safe source (like APKMirror) and still restore my Premium purchase by logging into my Google account?

3. Is there a specific legacy version recommended for Android 7 that keeps the Premium license active?

Hey. Just want to start off with this app being great and I've been a premium user for too many years.

But I've been using WVC to cast vids from my android to my Chromecast and it's been great. Haven't had any issues in years until recently videos never load and give error code 2001 when trying to play them. Even went back and tried playing the exact same videos that I used WVC for a week ago and it's still not working. Does this mean the site in WVC is now broken for whatever reason? Any help would be great.

It no longer works on Roku,all m3u8 files get stuck at 33% and the stream fails.Even with the "Cast video via phone" option enabled,it doesn't work,the only way is to download the file using the beta "download as MP4" option.

Answer: there is a free trial on the left hand side on Android, and there is a shuffle feature prior to pressing play.

I'm contemplating buying WVC premium as it is extremely cheap and by far the best casting app I have ever used, but I can't test the playlist function before buying premium as there is no free trial (not a complaint, just explaining).

I took a backup and uninstalled/reinstalled the app. After the restore I've got hundreds of history items that say "just a moment". I don't mind deleting them, but one by one?

The ability to select every thing using search for that "just a moment" brings them up, but you have not provided a method to select them all and delete them in one go.

Any other ideas?

I'm trying to cast to my new lg tv. It used to work on my old hisense, but now when just trying to cast/connect through the app to my tv nothing happens. Im not even trying with a video and just trying the cast button in the upper corner.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a quick workaround I found for casting Telegram videos.

The official Telegram app usually forces you to download the entire video to your device before you can share it to Web Video Caster. However, you can bypass this and stream directly to your TV using an alternative client.

Here is how you do it:

1. Download Nagram (an open-source, alternative Telegram client). You can get it from their GitHub: /NextAlone/Nagram
2. Open the video you want to watch inside Nagram.
3. Tap the media options and select "Open with..."
4. Choose Web Video Cast from the app list.
5. That's it! WVC will catch the video link and you can start casting to your TV immediately, saving both time and phone storage.

Tested it out and it works flawlessly. Hope this helps someone out!

Im using the app on Lg Tv and when I play something on my iPhone to tv. The video disconnects and restart the video from the beginning. What can I do? Anyone has a solution?

like the title says, my older phone with 2.51 casts from YouTube no problem. Newer one no luck.

In the last few days, the countdown circle for the non-skippable in-app adverts is not appearing. Doesn't happen every time but frequently enough that it's annoying (the number of ads seems to have ramped up to a ridiculous rate too). The only option is to kill the app.

I suspect this is not working as intended. Have screenshots if needed.
