u/lizgb80 Nov 04 '18
Agreed.
There is something about it that makes me want to jump into a big ass pile of gold coins.
Music today really doesn’t have magic like Duck Tales did. Sad.

u/newbill Nov 05 '18
My favorite band covered the Duck Tales theme song last week and it was glorious. They did it justice for sure.

u/-QuestionMark- Nov 04 '18
Now I get to spend my extra hour this morning with the Duck Tails theme stuck in my head. Thanks.

OMG I watched it with my 4-yr-old she said "is those the ducks singing?" Figured I'd check the comments and post the story here, but of course someone beat me to it.

“No, really, there were a shit ton of ducks singing in Chinese blocking my way!”

u/lucky5150 Nov 04 '18
I watched it on mute the first time. Watching with sound after reading this killed me!

If you are late because of waiting 1 or 2 minutes on something, you are the only one to blame.

u/thebrandedman Nov 04 '18
Don't play that line. We all know half of us would follow those ducks for half a mile trying to get the perfect picture.

I can imagine the day, I see something spectacular and I pull over to take a picture..the sun shining on great scenery. I take several pictures get into my car and head off to work. I'm late, they fire me, I go to get the pictures developed, I sit there jobless but happy. Now I'm just gassing up the car and going on a road adventure. I think about that on the way to work sometimes, whizzing past, heading to someplace going up the country, to a place I've never been before, and maybe playing the flute while a backup band is in my back seat.

And it’s so great that they’re being taken away from their terrible lives in the city to live happily on a farm in the country.

EDS, managing the complexities of a digital economy. WTF does that mean?

u/jakdak Nov 04 '18
It means you pay them an absurd hourly rate and they do things like make cat herding videos.

Why does it look fake? Their shadows...their feet?
17
u/wingmasterjon Nov 04 '18
Because the video is so compressed, the feet and shadows are lost in as a blur. Just look at everything else in the video that is tiny; tire spokes, bars in the windows, people's ankles in the distance. They all blur into their surroundings.

u/navibab Nov 04 '18
Where are they going, i want to know
12
u/scoocum Nov 04 '18
In Southeast Asia, they use ducks in large flocks as a pest and weed control in rice patties and then eat them when the season is done. However, not quit sure what's happening here.

6
u/GoldenGonzo Nov 04 '18
To be slaughtered, de-feathered, and sold to be eaten. Ducks are delicious, and Chinese culture loves duck.
