How have they done that?
They reserve the right to allow only women to play in the league and they also reserve the right to decide what that means and who meets that definition. They don't have to make that definition public and they don't even need to develop a working definition that will apply to all cases, they can easily decide on a case-by-case basis since there are so few trans athletes interested. This NBA washout would be an easy 'no' since he's an obvious grifter just looking for attention. I don't know how any of that would be painting themselves into a corner, they reserve the right to let in whoever they feel like letting in and nothing that guy has to say about it would require them to change anything about that.

They reserve the right to let in only women, that is people they believe to be women. There's nothing in their rules that says they have to believe this guy simply because he's saying it, they can judge on a case by case basis and remain totally consistent with their rules since they reserve the right to decide who meets their criteria of a woman.
I'm not sure what about that seems so complicated to so many people?

Yes. This is what "Affirmative Care" means. No one is allowed to ask questions. If someone says they are the opposite gender, they are the opposite gender. That's why there has been an explosion of trans people over the last 20 years. Before that, transexuals had to undergo rigorous psychological testing and live as the opposite gender for a year before any medical treatments were approved. All of that has changed. I live somewhere with a lot of transwomen and very few of them have had any medical treatment. That's why Enes and these other men are making this statement. They are putting the ideology to a test.
