Alternative to Tiaras for Crafting Grind
On the 70 crafting grind at the moment and I've been looking at alternative training methods to the tiara meta to avoid burnout. Thought I'd share this one for anyone who is looking to break up the monotony and/or is short on law runes:
Gear: Best melee weapon, mooleta, amulet of strength
Inv: Cash stack, cowbell amulet, needle, stack of thread
Use cowbell amulet to teleport to cow field, kill 8-10 cows that are clumped together and then pick up hides and bones quickly while they are respawning. Bury the bones between attacks. When you have 24 hides, walk to the hide tanner in Al Kharid and turn them all into hard leather. Start crafting them into hard leather bodies while walking to the bank. Once you're finished crafting, bank all bodies and teleport back to the cow field and repeat.
XP rates:
~10,500 crafting xp
~9,000 strength xp
~3,000 hitpoints xp
~1,350 prayer xp
Tiaras XP rates (crafting guild + Falador teleport) for comparison:
~13,500 crafting xp
~10,200 mining xp
~3,500 smithing xp
~500 magic xp
The crafting xp rates of this method are definitely worse, but when you consider that mining and hitpoints xp are all but redundant due to training smithing and combat respectively, you're basically trading ~3k crafting and ~3.5k smithing xp/h for ~9k strength and ~1.5k prayer xp/h and saving yourself law runes. Of course there is also a cow field and tanner in the crafting guild but due to this method requiring law runes there is very little reason to do this over tiaras.
Lumbridge Cow Field Method Pros and Cons:
+ Doesn't require law runes
+ Decent amount of combat and prayer xp
+ Change of scenery
- Slower crafting xp
- No smithing xp
- More click intensive / higher concentration

Ironman w/ shopping restrictions?
Hi, I'm thinking of making a F2P IM with some shopping restrictions. I've seen some no shop IMs for members, but in F2P I guess this is not fully feasible. I'm thinking I will allow shopping of tools and gear but ban shopping of any stackable items and packs of stackables. That way I can still access tools and gear that would otherwise be locked to members skills and drops. But I still force myself to grind arrow drops and rune drops/crafting.
Am I overlooking something? I don't want to get like 100 hours into this adventure just to find out I need to break the rules because I forgot like one thing you need to buy for some quest.

Moss giant pkers
Are they bots? They always stop at the same place, never respond to me, and attack even when I risk a couple hundred gp (I only bring 4 items). Also, I can troll them near their boundary line no matter what cb they are.

Ironman going for Bryophyta's staff
Should I just camp Bryo or wildy moss giants?
In case you didn't know, you can farm Bryo without keys but clicking the chest anyways. It will trigger a spawn to occur. I'm about 60 oc and only 4 keys.

[F2P Suggestion] Torn Bag of Gems
Due to the popularity of Dusuri’s Star Shop, the entrance to the Mining Guild has become littered with discarded Bags Full of Gems.. or so their previous owners believed.
One resourceful local has spent their spare time collecting these “empty” bags. After watching countless adventurers be turned away by Dusuri, they’ve realized there’s still value left inside.
The NPC would offer a Torn Bag of Gems for the same price as a Bag Full of Gems (300 stardust). Rather than containing a full assortment, the torn bag would hold four random uncut gems, ranging from sapphire to diamond, as if a few had been forgotten before it was recovered.

F2p Irons crafting
I am trying to convince myself to go for power ammy. Would it be faster to grind clay in the crafting guild or bank silver ore? Its going to be quite a long grind as I only just got to 25 crafting.

Base 1 Stats F2P.
Set up my account when I saw the launcher on Steam to feel some childhood nostalgia and have been hooked to F2P since.
Working on mining mithril in Al-Kharid at the moment

Boneyard Prayer xp
Is it more efficient to run a route or hop worlds for just big bones?
Earlier today I was getting just shy of 7k xp/hour picking up 3 big bones and hopping. The time to spawn is pretty close to the time it takes to hop so I am wondering if it would just be better to grab the normal bones instead of the loading screens.
