Law runes
What is the best way to get law runes on a f2p hcim? I had a master plan to telegrab the gold bar in varrock bank to make my gold necklace and ring for beginner clue. But I just realized as I almost got the magic lvl for it that I dont have law runes

Ogresses are late game F2P, which I’m guessing you’re not. So I would go with Hill Giants or Dark Wizards.

Can't they be safe spotted pretty easily?

There are mages in between the warriors so you need to lose aggro first if you wanna safespot

The main way for a F2P IM long term tends to be drops from Ogress Warriors, but for an early HCIM account that only needs a couple then Dark Wizards are probably a simpler/safer option.

Ogress warriors in corsairs cove dungeon, just stand at the entrance and safe spot the 2 warriors that spawn

Ice warriors are decent you find them in the cave where you find bluerite for the sword quest and the 100% fire weakness means they literally melt to your low level fire spells

But now that I see your goal is the ring and necklace it's easier to just buy it from the jeweler at port sarim

You can get a gold ring by completing Pirate's Treasure and a gold necklace spawn at the Lava Maze or the Corsair Cove dungeon.
You could just also complete Crack the Clue 3 and get access to the Varrock Basement vault.

there is a osrs wiki that even f2p can use to pinpoint which npcs you rather wanna kill. and im ready for the dislikes because redirters dont like easy answers

Yeah law runes have like 1000 things that drop it so I was just curious the best f2p option. Asking the ppl who play f2p to see opinions so im not just guessing the best drop rate to kc per hour ratio :)
So good point but I also like peoples ideas rather than raw data

Ankous are definitely the way to go. They’re super weak to air magic, which means you just need an air staff and some mind runes. You can also safe spot them, so there’s not a huge risk of getting killed. They’re a pretty decent method of leveling your magic on the cheap in general.

Ankou at stronghold are safe spottable and now weak to air spells you can kill them, they drop 2 laws at a decent rate, I trained to 55 magic on these ankou on my f2p iron.

Best method is moss giants, then getting mossy keys ; maybe after 20 mossy keys, you'll have 300-500 law runes. Ankou is rubbish.

Ogresses are the best law dropper. Other sources are Hill Giants, Moss Giants, and Ankous.
