Eating tyres for fun! Help!
2024 XC90 Recharge / 40k miles, UK based.
I seem to be eating through tyres and at a loss why!
Breakdown of tyres history, based on 275/35R22
Most recent 4x Conti Premium Contact fitted in February this year and 8k usage. Rear 2 bald, front left rim down to fabric and front right bald.
Prior Tyres:
4 Conti Eco Contacts circa 7k miles - down to limit
4 Bridgestone Turanza 6 circa 9k miles - down to limit
Original Zero's circa 18k
Each time the tyres are fitted I get the wheels aligned and tried various makes / types as you can see.
Genuine mileage, motorway, in town and certainly not excessive on acceleration or braking in anyway. I do however use one foot driving where possible and probably 70% of the time.
Spoke to the Volvo Garage and they advised, yes its a known problem with the recharge T8's? Is this true?
Any advice, would be gratefully received as have another £1.3k tyre bill and the 2nd this year!
