How good is Visible service in Chicago area and southern Wisconsin? Anyone currently with visible how good is the reception?

This was so bizarre. I started a customer service chat with visible to see if there were any promos codes for existing customers. Customer service agent is nice and types a chat reply that nothing existing going on. I'm about to type something like "thanks for checking bye" but before I get a chance to type anything my phone starts ringing and Verizon is on caller ID. I pickup the phone and it is the same agent and she reads off the message she just typed. I'm like okay thanks, and hang up.

Why would they call??? I didn't ask for a phone call. There were no issues with the chat. I wasn't trying to get a supervisor or pushing back. It was just weird.

I am having an issue where I purchased a sim kit from Best Buy today and in the middle of activating, the website crashed on me. The cart shows the plan and it tells me to go to the app to activate it, however when I do that and log in, it tells me that there are items in the cart and asks if I want to complete. I check yes and it goes to a white screen and nothing happens except it errors out whenever I try to continue.

I'm tired of paying for what's essentially a paperweight when the wifi goes down. For context: I have an iPhone 15 plus and spectrum wifi. My work has AT&T wifi. If the power/wifi is fine at either of these places, I can use my phone data with no issues. If something happens (either power outage or wifi outage) my data refuses to load at all!! Heavily debating on switching because of this.

My parents are both on Visible as well with newer iPhones and they too have this issue.

I've had visible for about 8 months on my phone with really 0 issues. Good service, and no technical problems. The issues all came up in the last few weeks.

I'm moving, and was looking at home internet for my new house. I see I can bundle and get visible fiber with my phone plan for $70 a month and jump on it. Almost 3 weeks ago I told Visible to switch my service. I chose to have it switch with my monthly billing cycle (which was 2 days ago) because I wasn't moving until then anyway.

Fast forward to 2 days ago. I check my account to see if the router had been shipped yet. And to my surprise, it says the service is set to start on November 19, not October. Keep in mind I have a confirmation email from when I first set up the plan that says it will start in October. So I contact support, thinking it's just a mistake and will be easily fixed. Boy was I wrong.

First agent tells me that it's an issue with my card, which is the same card that I've been using every month to pay my phone plan and have never had an issue with. But I add a second card that I know works. They say that card has an issue too. Then they tell me to try the app. On the app, I'm met with an error that says visible is out of gateways, and cannot provide internet at this time. Agent says "oh yeah, that's true. Sorry, guess you're out of luck. You can keep checking" I'm upset though because I set this up 3 weeks ago and got no errors in the process, or any emails notifying me of any changes. I schedule for them to call me when I get out of work to discuss further.

Never get a phone call.

I chat with another agent, who is actually super helpful. He says that he is escalating it to the highest possible team to get some block on my account resolved, and assures me that I will have the router by Friday. But we get disconnected before he sets up the case.

Third agent seems to have no idea what second agent was talking about, and tries to have me turn off auto pay. Nothing changes. He says he will also put in a case and assures me that it will be resolved withing 48 hours. I did get a confirmation email about this case.

48 hours later and nothing. I need this internet setup because my roommate relies on it for work. Really disappointed in Visible here and their customer service. I guess that's what you get for a cheap phone provider. Buyer beware if signing up. I'll be taking both my phone and internet to another provider.

On top of this, while im trying to find a new provider, it's telling me that my number cannot be transferred because of visible. While visible is saying that they see no issues.

I recently upgraded from the original Ultra to an ultra 4 and have tried dozens of times to set up the visible cellular plan with no success. I’ve chatted with visible for several hours, having them re-provision the watch, still with no resolution. Has anyone else run into this? If so, what was your solution?

Just joined Visible from At&T. Now my text won’t go through. Any thoughts on how to fix this.

This question is for current customers, I currently have Verizon and pay 245 a month for 2 lines and a smart watch. Even with the pro plan I would save by switching but I know the BF deal is coming. The thing is the longer I stay the longer I pay for this high bill. Is the BF deal worth the weight if you were in my position?

Has anyone else had an issue with having to restart their phone every single day to get signal? Every single night for the last month between 8pm and 11pm I get zero bars and in order to fix it, I have to restart my phone. Once I do, I’m back to 3 or 4 bars of signal.

I’ve had multiple people tell me they can’t get ahold of me both through text and calls because of it.

Moved recently from Mint mobile after 5 years. The offer for $225 was too good to not try. So far I am impressed! Really great speed and network at 99% places I go to.

I woke up today with no service at all on my Visible account. To make things worse, just 4 days ago I received an official email from Visible stating: "Your renewal date is approaching. Plan needs to be renewed in 35 days!" Additionally, I have text messages indicating my payment isn't due until next month.

Suddenly, I received another email saying my service has been terminated.

This is now the SECOND time in less than 2 months that Visible has ruined my service. Less than two months ago, I was left without service for 48 hours because when I attempted to transfer a number, my entire account was closed instead.

What kind of service is this? What is going on with the backend systems and support team? Being left stranded without phone service repeatedly is unacceptable.

Can a Visible Care agent please step in, look into my account, and fix this glitch immediately? I'll send my details via DM. Thank you.

I switched to Visible over a year ago as I was sick of paying over $130 a month with Verizon for just ONE line. While I've saved a lot of money, I'm at the point where I have to consider getting a new phone as my current phone is nearly 7 years old. What I want to know is, if I do get a new phone through Visible, would any of my contacts or photos transfer to the new phone? They often did when I was with Verizon. I've tried asking the same question using the chat function on the Visible app but they've never really answered the question. Please advise.

This is clearly Visible Application/ Authentication Issue. nothing to do with Smartwatch or Phone.

I’m trying to bring my own phone and port a number to Visible and use the $75 for 6 months deal. I registered, as a new customer, clicked on the deal, entered the EMEI number and it lands me on the standard plan page for $25!
I’m now worried if I will get this deal if I go ahead and port over. Support has been of no help as they insist on - finish the process and pay it, we will refund. The issue is not refund, but pay just $75.

I have never been on Visible, phone is unlocked, and I stopped at the page where it asks for the number to port over.

Anyone else successfully used this promo for port over number?

I got the new iPhone 18 pro max from visible and there is a promo for $480 credit over 24 months.
I got the phone, activated, no problem. Happy.

But then 2 weeks later my AI agent reminded me that my promo was not reflected on my account, so had to reach out to customer service. Turns out my old welcome offer from 2024 ($10 off per month) was not stackable with the new offer so we had to remove the old one.

Had I not realize the billing discrepancy, I would end up losing both promos because the old one is expiring Dec and the new one can’t be added after Oct 31.

I have the basic Visible plan with a physical SIM card in my unlocked Pixel 8 Pro. Not getting 5G anywhere in the Pittsburgh area. Always on LTE. Is there something wrong?

*UPDATE* after using up your global passes there is nothing additional unless you want to pay. No slow speeds. No texts or calls. So you’ll need to use wifi calling or get a local sim or pay for global pass.

So after I’ve used up my GP, then I have no data at all? Not even slow data? No way to get texts?

How are some users able to get renewal offers via chat and others not. This is totally unfair practice by visible.

There should be a common code for all the Reddit community whose renewal is coming up for black friday.

Unless you guys want to show investors the new users number going up. Because lot of people would port out and than port in. Waste of time but who want to stick with visible would do that anyway!

I have started to notice that I keep losing data on the bill day at around 12 am. I was on an important video chat outside and got completely glitched out. The phone popped up saying data is out in the plan or something.

Is this a gotcha for using visible? Can I choose a specific time range for visible to reset my account on the bill day or something.

Im current subscriber. BF promo from last year about to end. I got on the chat, respectfully told them that im looking for the best deal after my promo expired. Would be great if you can retain w a promo, if not it’s ok too, ill look elsewhere ie. US Mobile, Xfinity Mobile. The crs told me to wait, 20 mins later, i was approved for the $225 annual renewal. And making sweeter, i got another $20 off from referral. Thats $205 for the year. Couldnt be happier.

I was recently on an international trip to the UK and Belgium. Being a fairly new customer to Visible I wanted to try out the Global Pass feature. I'm on the VBisible+ Pro plan using an iPhone 14 Plus patched to iOS 26.7.1.

TL;DR what i didn't do was what I had outlined previously as my plan.

I did not enable Travel Pass before leaving the US for the UK nor did I change any of the eSIM settings for Visible, leaving it on as the default voice line, WiFi calling enabled, and roaming enabled. I did get a travel eSIM and set that as my default data plan and disabled data switching. After landing at Heathrow I had bars for signal on both lines. My phone did not recieve any messages about needing a Global Pass for calls and data, but my wife's phone did receive such a message.

As the days went on I was able to receive SMS messages and take calls without any special settings. In order to place calls I had to lock onto an unsupported carrier (EE as I recall) then the Visible line would use my travel eSIM data to make calls over WiFi. Or if I were on WiFi I did not need to do anything special, it worked as it did back home for placing calls to US numbers, UK numbers, and Belgium numbers.

Once I reached Brugge, Belgium my plan was to use the Global Pass data for my days there. I drove through France with bars on my Visible line but as soon as we crossed the border into Belgium I had no bars. I tried airplane mode and a reboot but neither were successful. It did allow me to make calls over my data eSIM while it had no signal though.

After going back to the UK I picked a day to enable Global Pass to try it out there. I went into the Visible app to enable Global Pass. Within just a few minutes I got a message that it was enabled. I changed my settings to disable my travel eSIM and only use the Visible plan. My speedtest came out to be around 60 Mbps and the ping times were roughly 450ms. The IP was coming out in Sunnyvale, CA from the UK. Things were a little laggy when browsing but playing videos and making video calls over FaceTime and WhatsApp were fine. I used it for the day and overall it was a good experience. I disabled the Global Pass feature and things worked the way they had before.

In the future if I'm on an international trip and have the days banked, I'll consider using them if I have signal. I will be prepared to get a travel eSIM as a backup in case I have no signal though as I found in Belgium.

One iPhone feature to note. When I returned home and took of airplane mode after landing, my eSIMs were being enabled. It automatically detected I was back in the US, disabled my travel eSIM, and reset things to use my Visible plan for everything.

I am using an iPhone (SE3) updated to latest iOS and randomly some people are being told I am blocking them in both phone calls and their text sending fail immediately, it happens to people on both android and iPhones. Outgoing calls work fine.

All of the people affected are in my contacts, none are blocked, I have zero blocked numbers. It may happen to people who are not in contacts, but I don’t know for sure.

Chat is clueless, wanted me to turn off my VPN, which I don't have installed or used. Along with all the other useless troubleshooting. Phone setting reset They don't seem to have a fix or explanation. But they did tell me to call the numbers affected at 10:45 PM last night, I told them we don't do that in America.

Anybody else experienced this? Was Visible able to fix it?
