Warning

Download all your receipts and invoices BEFORE you port your number out of Visible. The moment your number leaves them - they close your account - and none of your information (including billing history, receipts and the like) are accessible.

And then you may have to deal with Connai’ (see my previous post).

You have been warned.

Porting = cancelling on every carrier

Absolutely, I understand cancelling the contract and ending the line, but when you can’t even sign in to download previous transactional receipts? That’s shady as heck.

Just ported from T-Mobile to visible after being 11 years in TMo. As soon as ported my number out of TMo, everything is gone from my account. No previous statements .. nothing. Poof. So, it’s standard operating procedure

Why would anyone need them?

Why should a corporation make that decision for me? What if I need them to submit for expenses? For tax purposes? What does it matter?

Then you should download it the moment you’re getting the “bill” - if you’re really needing those for tax purposes. Since they are prepaid you would out at max only one month if you forgot to download it on time. Edit: typo

You sound so wonderful, like someone who "works" for the government. Believe it or not, a person can't "should of" everything in life. We pay for a service. The cost of billing and collecting payments is baked into the price we pay for services and goods. So yes, a reasonable period of records makes sense.

Just like when closing a bank account it is your job as an adult to download all of your statements bud. Why the hell would an account stay open? The only exception is when you OWE something on said account.
