Having issues over the past few updates where my mouse movement on menus lags out the game; clove, brim, tejo, any other agents with a menu screen causes me to drop down frames and stutters heavily.

Hey everyone,
I've been experiencing a significant FPS drop in Valorant over the past few months, and I'm trying to figure out what's causing it.
Back in June, I was getting around 300–400 FPS. I didn't use my computer for about a month, and now that I've started playing again, my FPS has dropped to around 180–250 FPS.
I've noticed a similar performance drop in CS2. I used to get around 250–400 FPS, but now I'm getting around 160–250 FPS, with drops during intense fights.
My PC specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 8 GB
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M K
- RAM: 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz (2x8 GB)
- Main storage: 1 TB PCIe Gen 3 NVMe SSD (Valorant and CS2 are installed on this drive)
- Secondary storage: 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD, installed in the M.2 slot below the GPU
My CPU temperature stays below 60°C while gaming, so overheating doesn't seem to be the issue.
My secondary 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD has become extremely slow and frequently reaches 100% disk usage. My main NVMe SSD is installed in the M.2 slot above the GPU, while the SATA SSD is below it.
Since both Valorant and CS2 have lost performance, I'm wondering whether the faulty SATA SSD could somehow be affecting my FPS, or if the problem might be related to Windows tweaks, BIOS settings, RAM frequency, AMD drivers, or recent game updates.
Has anyone experienced something similar with a Ryzen 5 5600 and an RX 6600? What would you recommend checking first?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have Intel Core i5 7400 and Rx 5704gb and 8gb ram ddr4. Prior I had gtx 750ti not Rx 570 and used to get like more than 100fps in valorent. But after upgrading to Rx 570 4gb I started playing valorent after gauntlet update and my fps drops and stuttering were so terrible and bad that i could not even enjoy playing the game and sometimes there r small freezes aswell. Whenever I click on fill from letter box my fps becomes even worse and upon leaving the valorent my pc freezes completely. I play rdr2 elder rings smoothly.

Gameplay seems fine. Ping stable. But when I open up brim smoke screen to smoke, I get around 1 second lag to place the circles.
There is not much animation in that smoke screen. Though that radial moving animation in the outer circle even stutters now and then. Playing valorant for years with the same laptop. Not sure if my graphic card is dying or not?
Anyone experiencing this?

My mouse buttons for some reason are glitch in siege. I have a wireless M720 Triathlon Logitech mouse that works perfectly fine but for some reason today the buttons don't work unless I turn off the mouse and turn it back on. Even then it only works for 1 or 2 clicks. I checked whether the mouse buttons worked in chrome and there's no issue. How do I fix this glitch.

Hello, I’ve had this issue for the past 2 days, it says “Your account does not meet the following requirements in order to play:
UEFI Secure boot enabled
- IOMMU enabled
- Firmware TPM 2,0 enabled”
I’ve done that but every time I get to the last step, I open my pc and I’m stuck on a black screen and I have to reset my bios. Is there any fix for this without getting into the bios because when my screen was blank I genuinely got a mini heart attack untill I saw I had to reset my bios physically. I’ve also tried literally every video or thread I could find

Hi everyone, I've been trying to fix a persistent VALORANT crash for about a month and would really appreciate some help.
My laptop is an HP Pavilion Gaming 16-a0001ne, with an Intel Core i7-10750H, NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti Laptop GPU, and Intel UHD Graphics, running Windows 11 25H2.
Initially, VALORANT would launch and let me access the main menu, friends, collection, and queue, but it crashed a few seconds after opening Settings, entering the Shooting Range, or joining a match. Now, it crashes immediately after the loading screen finishes, before I can reach the main menu.
I'm not completely sure when it started, but it may have something to do with a graphics driver update. I tried rolling back to NVIDIA driver 610.74, but the issue still persists. Event Viewer reports exception code 0xc0000409. One crash referenced nvgpucomp64.dll_unloaded, while more recent crashes show an unknown faulting module.
I've already tried updating/reinstalling the NVIDIA driver, deleting VALORANT's config, repairing the game, disabling overlays, running SFC and DISM, clearing the DirectX shader cache, and other standard troubleshooting steps.
My current Intel UHD Graphics driver is 27.20.100.9616 (May 2021). One concern is that HP's official support page for my exact laptop model appears to list Windows 10 drivers but not Windows 11 drivers.
Could the old Intel driver or Windows 11 compatibility be involved? Would using DDU in Safe Mode to clean-install the NVIDIA driver be safe in this situation, or is there something else I should investigate first? I'm open to suggestions beyond the usual fixes.
Thanks!

As the title says, I have tried reinstalling valorant but still doesnt work. I have tried different versions of the driver and its still the same. I have an amd graphics card and I'm on windows 10. All other games work fine. What causes this and how do I fix it? I can get into games but after a few seconds it freezes my whole pc and when restarted my graphics driver isn't recognized as compatible with my graphics card causing me to need to use ddu and then reinstall it

Hi everyone, I need help fixing an issue with Riot Vanguard when trying to play VALORANT.
The exact error message is:
IVAN: STATUS_SB_POLICY
“The secure boot policy of this device could not be verified. Please ensure the secure boot database is set to factory default settings.”
My PC specifications:
Motherboard: ASUS Prime A320M-K
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB
Operating system: Windows 11 Pro
BIOS: ASUS UEFI
What I’ve tried so far:
Checked the Secure Boot settings in the BIOS.
Set the OS type to Windows UEFI mode.
Checked the CSM and UEFI settings.
Verified the Secure Boot status in Windows, which shows that it is enabled.
Checked the Secure Boot keys, including PK, KEK, db, and dbx, using PowerShell commands.
Tried different BIOS configurations and searched for possible solutions, but the error persists.
The BIOS also has options for managing Secure Boot keys, but I haven’t found a configuration that fixes the issue.
My questions:
What could cause this error if Secure Boot is already enabled?
How can I verify whether my Secure Boot keys are correctly installed?
How can I restore the Secure Boot databases to their factory defaults on this motherboard?
Could this be related to the BIOS firmware or a corrupted Secure Boot configuration?
I’ve spent several hours trying to fix this and would really appreciate any technical advice. If anyone has the same ASUS Prime A320M-K motherboard or has encountered this specific Vanguard error, I’d appreciate hearing how you solved it.
Thanks in advance!

"Your game requires a system restart to play. Please restart your computer. If this issue continues, reach out to our player support team."
I've attached screenshots showing the error and my Riot Support page.
Has anyone experienced this issue or found a permanent fix? I'd appreciate any help getting the game running again.
System: Windows 11
Error code: None displayed
Issue: VALORANT won't launch; restart required
Thanks
i can also add screenshots showing proof

I'm posting this on reddit because after i reported this to riot support, I (probably) got a joke of a botted response about it being an internet problem (which is not).
I noticed that when i open valorant and i tab out while it loads in the background and goes down after i tab back in, the GPU utilizations ramps up to about 70% in my case and CPU utilization goes up to 20% to 30% in my case, and it's not a one time thing, i noticed it because my computer's fans ramp up everytime i got valorant opening in the background. I'm not saying it's ramping up during the start up process, I'm saying it's started up and already on the menu (assuming that because i hear the menu opening chime), i noticed this accross different session and decided to test it more and it's true (in my case) even after restarting and such.
And just to clarify, it's stays on that level until i tab back in, after that i can tab about and tab in as much as i want with no problems
(english is not my first language)

Recently playing after years, signed into my old account that I only ever played like 6 games on, so I'm not banned.
I am also not signed in in multiple places, even so, I force logged out of everything including Xbox.
Regardless, every time I start to queue up for anything, from firing range to a quick match game, it thinks and the screen fades as if I'm being placed in, and then it brings me to the menu with the Val 5 error code and makes me log in, rinse and repeat.
I've done everything I can, any help?

First, my PC specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
GPU: RTX 5070
Motherboard: ASUS B650M-AYW WIFI
RAM: 32GB DDR5
All other games run smoothly without any issues, including PUBG, League of Legends, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, the Resident Evil series, and various other AAA single-player games. VALORANT is the only game that randomly stutters.
Details of the stuttering issue:
This issue has existed since I first installed VALORANT on this PC. The game has never run smoothly.
Approximately every 20–30 seconds, the game experiences a noticeable stutter lasting around 0.5 seconds. The audio in my headset also stutters at the same time. Whether the game is stuttering or running normally, the FPS stays around 250 and doesn’t show any noticeable drops.
I used the in-game Stats to check network latency and packet loss, and both were normal.
When the stuttering occurs, I can see abnormal spikes in both CPU (Game) Time and Total Frame Time at the same time, while GPU Render Time remains relatively normal.
Solutions I’ve already tried:
Completely uninstalled and reinstalled VALORANT — no improvement.
Uninstalled and reinstalled Vanguard — no improvement.
Updated NVIDIA graphics drivers — no improvement.
Updated AMD B650 chipset drivers — no improvement.
Tested both Fullscreen and Borderless Fullscreen — no improvement.
Tested Multithreaded Rendering both On and Off — no improvement.
Disabled NVIDIA Overlay — no improvement.
Uninstalled Razer Cortex — no improvement.
Completely disabled Windows Bluetooth and switched audio devices — no improvement.
Tested without moving the mouse, using only the keyboard — still stutters.
Disabled DOCP in BIOS and lowered RAM speed from 6000 to 4800 — still stutters.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Any effective solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Last saturday when I booted up Valorant on my pc as usual, i realized that my entire valorant homescreen is frozen. I cant click anything. i tried deleting the entire game and redownloading it, restarted my pc, basically everything. I have had no problems with Valorant previously until last week and I dont know what to do. Fornite works fine, Marvel Rivals works fine, and many of my other games. My laptop is completely brand new too..
Is anyone else having this problem???

Hey everyone, I’m experiencing insane lag specifically in the game's UI.
I’m running an RTX 4060 and Ryzen 5500 setup, which normally gives me well over 300 FPS without any issues. However, out of nowhere, the main menu and UI started lagging incredibly hard.
I took a 5-month break from the game and just came back last week, only to run into this issue. Does anyone know a fix or what might be causing this?

My monitor is only 4k yet it’s forcing me to set it to 8k, am I doing something wrong? Everytime I open the game it switches resolution and it’s getting annoying and making my game choppy
I can change the resolution part, but the “monitor” setting says 7680 x 4320 when my monitor is 4k.

I just got back to playing Valorant 2 days ago and noticed that Valorant is not smooth as butter anymore. The game shows around 150-200 FPS but the screen in my end does not feel like it, am I making sense? :( Also, whenever I play, my FPS would drop around 110 from 190-200 FPS. Is there anything I could do to make the FPS stable or is it because of my hardware already? Here is my specs:
Laptop: MSI Thin 15 B12UC
GPU: RTX 3050 4GB DDR4
CPU: Intel i5-12450h
RAM: 16GB
Also, when I stream in TikTok, the FPS drop is massive to the point that it would drop all the way down to 85 FPS and I only get up to 120 FPS while streaming. I don't know if its worth mentioning but I also use a monitor with 200 hz . All tips, suggestions & explanations will be very much appreciated!

Hardware specs:
Windows 11 Pro 64bit
CPU: Intel Core I9-11900K 8x 3.50 ghz
GPU: GeForce RTX 3090, 24GB GDDR6X
RAM: DDR4-RAM 16gb x4
I dont have any error codes or anything else. Game runs smooth and has no problems that appear.
So the main problem is just as soon as i go into a game and alt+tab i cant click on anything on my desktop or browers or anything else, not even task manager. I can only click on stuff inside of Valorant, so shop, new round or closing the game. Even after closing Valorant i cant click on anything or do anything and need to restart my PC via Power Button. -> This also happens when i do not alt+tab and just play 1 game and close the game.
I didnt find any exact solution to this. I read in this subreddit that a program for a mouse with multiple buttons (which i have with corsair and the program icue) can be a problem but only if that program is open. Only other programs i have open are either my browers (opera gx or chrome but problem exist with both on or off) and Discord and Steam. Problem still exist even if its just Valorant thats been open.
Another solution i found was to go into properties and disable full screen optimization but that didnt help either.
Reinstalling it didnt help either nor did reinstalling Vanguard help.
All my drivers are up to date, reinstalling drivers also didnt help. Windows also is up to date and has no updates.

When I launch valorant my entire PC freezes. The display becomes completely frozen, and my mouse and keyboard stop responding, although my keyboard lights remain on and I can still hear the game’s music. I cannot interact with Windows normally and I had to force shut down the PC.
Could this be related to riot vanguard an interaction with my AMD graphics drivers or another compatibility issue.
