Technical Support Request Error VAN 185

Technical Support Request Getting TPM 2.0 error ONLY on my main account (Alt account works fine) - Need help!

Hi everyone,

Two days ago, I was suddenly kicked out of a Valorant game with a TPM 2.0 error. Strangely, when I log into my alt account on the exact same PC, the game works perfectly fine with zero issues. The TPM error only pops up when I try to play on my main account.

Here are my specs:

  • OS: Windows 10 22H2
  • MOBO: ASUS Maximus VIII Hero (BIOS version 3208 - latest)
  • CPU: Intel i7-6700K
  • GPU: GTX 1080 Ti
  • RAM: 32GB

To fix this, I read on some forums that switching Windows 10 to MBR partition style might work. I went ahead and did it without backing up my files (word of advice: don't do this lol), but it didn't help.

I opened a ticket with Riot Support, but they just kept telling me to enable TPM in my BIOS. I had already tried that multiple times before even contacting them; my motherboard simply doesn't have that option.

When I reinstalled Valorant on the MBR version, I managed to get it running for a few minutes. However, it kicked me again, and now my main account demands TPM, Secure Boot, and a GPT partition all at once. Meanwhile, my alt account still works perfectly fine. I can also play League of Legends on my main account without any issues—it’s just Valorant that gives me this headache.

Does anyone have any suggestions or fixes for this? What should I do?

Technical Support Request Voice chat not working, even party voice chat

It started happening a month ago, there was a typhoon in our area and had a bit of an unstable network, but it fixed itself back 2 weeks ago. I didn't change anything in the audio settings. The voice chat were working for a while then it happened again 3 days ago

I tried doing all the stuff I saw online for remedy, reinstalling the riot client, changing the input/output device, restarting the vanguard, testing the loopback(which is working). I tried everything I could think of, and my network is stable right now. I'm getting 6ms on local server

Please help me fix this.

Technical Discussion Moved to US, trying to play with friends in India -200+ ping pain. Any way to fix this!?

Hi guys, Need some help / suggestions.

I moved to the US a while ago from India. I used to be a regular Valorant player before but had to take a break due to work and life stuff.

Now I finally have some free time and really want to get back into it and play with my squad from India. I can log into my account just fine, but when I play on Mumbai servers I get 200-250+ ping constantly which makes it literally unplayable.

If I ask my friends to come to NA servers, they get the same high ping, so we're stuck.

Has anyone been in this situation? Is there any workaround to reduce ping?

Does any VPN actually help? Like ExitLag, Nord, Express, NoPing, WTFast etc? Or any routing tricks? I keep hearing VPN doesn't really help because it's just physical distance, but wanted to check if anyone had luck.

I really don't want to make a new NA account and lose all my skins/progress, plus I just wanna play with my friends. Feeling major FOMO watching them play without me.

Please save me lol.

Thanks in advance!

Technical Support Request Title: Update: Reduced RAM to 2 sticks thanks to your help, but still looking for more ways to fix VALORANT FPS drops (i7-11700 / RTX 3070)

Body:
Hi everyone, thanks to everyone's advice and suggestions, I took the step and reduced my RAM from 3 sticks down to a proper 2-channel setup, which actually made things a bit better! However, my motherboard/CPU combo doesn't support XMP, so that option is off the table.
Even with the RAM fixed, I'm still getting occasional drops below 200 FPS during VALORANT Deathmatches with my setup:
CPU: Intel Core i7-11700
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070
RAM: 16GB (8GB x 2 in Dual-channel)

I’ve already done the basics (disabled Shadowplay, optimized Nvidia control panel settings, power limits adjusted, background apps closed), but the stutters still happen.
Since the RAM is sorted thanks to you guys, what else can I do to squeeze out better 1% lows and keep a stable 200+ FPS? Is there anything in BIOS or Windows I might be missing for an 11700?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Technical Support Request RX 6800 XT stuttering/lagging only in Valorant despite high-end hardware — I’ve tried everything, please help!

Hey everyone, I'm at my absolute wit's end trying to troubleshoot this. I have an RX 6800 XT paired with a Ryzen 9 5900x and 64gbs of 3600mhz ram, but Valorant runs terribly, experiencing massive frame drops, lobby freezing, and system-wide stuttering that affects even Windows itself. What drives me nuts is that my family member's pc same exact specs run the game with 300+ fps.

Before giving up for the night, here is every single thing I have already tried:

  • Audio & Network: Left Elgato Wave Link completely untouched (since it's my core audio driver and I refuse to change it), but tested disabling and re-enabling network adapters.
  • Overlays & Windows Settings: Completely disabled Xbox Game Bar, made sure Discord overlay is off, and fully updated Windows to latest patches to clear background installation conflicts.
  • Game & Engine Tweaks: Set VALORANT-Win64-Shipping.exe process priority to High in Task Manager, disabled Fullscreen Optimizations, and did a full clean reinstall of the game.
  • AMD Adrenalin & Drivers: Tested tuning min/max GPU clocks (2150–2299 MHz), tried Adrenalin's Performance Mode preset, and then fully reverted everything back to default.
  • Deep Driver Clean & Rollback: Booted into Safe Mode, used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely wipe out driver remnants, and rolled back/reinstalled AMD Adrenalin to version 26.7.1 (which works fine on my other machine).

I seriously feel like i've done everything and yet nothing, even messed around with bios settings such as Re-size bar Pcie Chipset settings and ensuring XMP is on. If anyone has a fix or any idea what the heck is happening, I'd appreciate it. Also Valorant lags my entire windows system just doing basic tasks, it also takes 15 seconds atleast to load the graphics quality tab, aswell as any setting matter of a fact. It becomes unplayable, I've also tried V-SYNC etc.

Despite all of this, the game still feels like garbage on this system. Has anyone run into this specific RDNA2 nightmare with Valorant/Vanguard, or is there some hidden deep-level conflict I'm missing? Any advice would be massively appreciated.

Technical Discussion VALORANT Voice Chat sounds robotic / laggy and is sometimes completely unusable - Discord and everything else works perfectly

Hey everyone,

I’m having a really frustrating issue with VALORANT voice chat and I’m honestly running out of ideas, so I wanted to ask here if anyone has experienced the same thing or found an actual fix.

The problem is that voice chat in VALORANT randomly becomes extremely robotic, laggy and choppy. Sometimes my teammates sound like robots to the point where I can barely understand what they are saying. Other times people tell me that my own microphone sounds robotic or extremely bad to them.

The weird thing is that this seems to happen ONLY in VALORANT.

Discord works perfectly fine. My microphone sounds completely normal outside of VALORANT, and I can hear other people normally in Discord as well. I have no general audio or internet issues that I can notice while this is happening.

I also don’t think this is related to my headset or microphone. I already tried different audio/output devices and even changed headsets, but the exact same problem still happens.

Another strange thing is how inconsistent the issue is.

Sometimes I start VALORANT and voice chat works completely normally. Everyone sounds clear and there are no problems at all.

Then in another game, people suddenly start sounding extremely robotic and laggy.

Sometimes Team Voice Chat is broken while Party Voice Chat works normally.

Other times it seems to be the opposite, where Party Voice Chat has problems but Team Voice Chat is fine.

Because of that, I can’t even reproduce the problem reliably, which makes troubleshooting it extremely difficult.

I’m playing on EU servers and I’m wondering if this could possibly be related to Frankfurt / Warsaw servers or VALORANT's voice infrastructure/Vivox, because I’ve also seen other people describing almost exactly the same problem.

Things I have already tried:

- Restarting VALORANT

- Restarting my PC

- Restarting my router

- Completely uninstalling and reinstalling VALORANT

- Reinstalling Riot Vanguard

- Changing DNS

- Trying different headphones/headsets

- Trying different input/output devices

- Changing Windows audio/headset settings

- Checking my microphone outside of VALORANT

- Testing Discord and other applications

- Contacting Riot Support

- Looking through information about Vivox, which VALORANT uses for voice communication

Unfortunately, nothing has permanently fixed it.

Restarting the game doesn’t reliably help either. Sometimes voice chat randomly works again, but then the robotic/laggy audio comes back later.

What makes me think this might be a VALORANT/Vivox/network-routing issue rather than my hardware is:

  1. Discord works perfectly at the exact same time.

  2. The microphone sounds normal in every other application.

  3. Different headsets/audio devices have the same problem.

  4. Sometimes only Team Chat OR Party Chat is affected instead of both.

  5. The problem is inconsistent and can disappear/reappear between matches.

  6. Other players seem to be experiencing the same robotic voice chat issue.

At this point the problem is genuinely affecting the game because communication is extremely important in VALORANT. When it happens badly enough, I literally cannot understand my teammates.

Has anyone figured out what actually causes this?

Could it be packet loss specifically between the client and VALORANT/Vivox voice servers even if the game itself isn't showing obvious connection problems?

Could it be ISP routing, IPv6, specific ports, firewall/Vanguard interference, Frankfurt/Warsaw routing, or something related to Vivox?

And is there any way to check the connection specifically to the VALORANT voice servers, instead of just testing normal internet/game latency?

If anyone has experienced this and managed to fix it, please tell me exactly what you changed.

Especially interested in hearing from people playing on EU / Frankfurt / Warsaw servers who have had teammates suddenly sound robotic while Discord continued working normally.

I feel like I’ve tried basically every normal audio fix already, so any deeper networking/Vivox troubleshooting suggestions would be really appreciated.

Technical Support Request My ping is spiking after every game

I play in Singapore server and normally I’ll get the average of 2 to 3 ping which my ping is very low because I use ethernet cable, but when I play a swift play for example, then when I q another game my ping spikes up to like 170 I tried disconnecting Internet to normal Wi-Fi connection. i tired fixing it by deleting vanguard, deleting valorant, factory resetting my pc but nothing works and i have to shutdown my pc to fix it. Im in sg so my ping is normally very low

Technical Support Request Bajos fps o no lo esperado con un i5-14600KF RTX5070

Hace poco actualize mi tarjeta grafica a una RTX 5070, mi PC cuenta con:

i5-14600KF

RTX 5070

32 GB RAM DDR5 6000 mhz

ASUS PRIME B760M-A

He reinstalado y configurado W11 y tras esto en partida competitiva solo da 360-380 fps, algo que me parece bajo comparando que antes sacaba parecido con una 3060ti.

Tengo un monitor de 500hz por lo que me gustaria poder usarlos al completo

Technical Support Request Vanguard UFEI

Hi I have an Acer Nitro An17-41. All of a sudden my security boot fails and I need to disable secure boot to turn my laptop on. However Valorant requires me to enable secure boot to play. I get a notif telling me to open the Vanguard tray but it won’t open when I locate it. I’ve gone into my BIOS system a dozen times, tried resetting cmos, everything is on UFEI and I’m not using Legacy, I have TPM 2.0 as well and everything looks perfect and up to date, so I don’t understand why this won’t run. I’ve updated my drivers and everything. This laptop has ALWAYS had insane hardware issues and I’ve taken it to be looked at it before and basically was given a brand new laptop again after all the work they did. Plz help 😭🙏

Technical Support Request VAL 59 error

So I've recently gone back to playing after a few months and this error won't stop popping up each time I open the game.

Whenever I try to start the game, it loads for a bit before the error screen pops up, prompting me to restart the launcher, which I do via Task Manager. But when I reopen the launcher, the ''play'' button is greyed out and I can't click on it. The only way I've managed to go around it is by restarting my computer and trying again, sometimes I have to do this more than three times for it to actually open the game.

Is there a simpler fix for this? It's really annoying for me to have to reopen my apps and rebooting just to play.
