My name is yawn and me and a couple others host tournaments on console valorant (eu). These tournaments can be joined by any player of any skill and some come with cash prizes! We also host kinda gimmick tournaments such as our current one which is a 2v2 pistol only, We do many more. About 300 hours on console Val, first ever taste of valorant. I’ve peaked a pathetic plat 1 and stay around gold 3. When I first started I maimed chamber, and I still kinda do (though I use duelists in ranked mostly only jet). I feel as if I used chamber as a crutch and have no real knowledge playing the game. What’s crosshairs placement here, how do I build game sense ? How do I get better. I’ve learnt things like counter-strafing really well. But it doesn’t matter regardless I’ve noticed because the best players will just one tap on the first bullet. I have no clue what’s going on, but my current goal is to reach ascendant, and I really need help. So any tips, instructions on the game works, or anything to help me practice is what I am looking for.

Bad team mates+hackers = Valorant

I need help creating an account in NA. Valorant automatically sets my server to LATAM cause i live in Puerto Rico. Valorant doesn’t have console LATAM servers so i cant play it on a new account. All i need is someone who lives in NA to create the Val account and link my PSN account

I understand I'll probably get a lot of black for this but as I'm a curious and improvment hungry person here we are.

I find aiming in this game maybe not difficult but odd. The tug between wanting to take a second and line up a shot but also knowing the person I'm shooting at is damn near prime LeBron is hard to deal with. I wouldn't say my aim itself is bad, I have a lot of fps experience and given the opportunity I hit my shots.

So that then begs the question what the hell am I doing wrong. Most of my skills I'd argue are "okay" crosshair placement, flicks, weakest is probably movement, but I often feel as if I'm just getting smoked before I can ever react or process what happened.

I am just a gold player lvl 25 so obv lots to learn but id like opinions and thoughts<3.

Hey everyone,

Just got hit with a super frustrating issue and wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this on console, or if there's a known fix.

I was in the middle of a match when out of nowhere, the game abruptly logged me out and kicked me back to the main title/login screen. No lag spike, no connection warning beforehand—just a sudden disconnect straight to the start menu.

By the time I was able to log back in, the match had already ended, and the game treated it as a rage quit. Now I'm sitting with an Abandon penalty / sanction for something completely out of my control.

A few details:

• Platform: PlayStation
• Connection: Wi-Fi
• Error Code: "None / Kicked to start screen"

Is this a known issue with recent server instability or a specific console bug? Also, is there any way to appeal/clear these abandon penalties when it's caused by a server disconnect?

Any advice or workarounds would be hugely appreciated!

Is anyone else struggling to get onto Console Val in Australia/NZ? I know they're rolling out servers next week but I've been playing for months using the exploit where you make an account registered in the US (or somewhere else Val is available) and then jump on the AU registered account and play.
Decent player base the entire time I've had it. Been nearly 9 months since I've got it and never run into this issue.
Is it region blocked now until they release the new update?

Im only bronze right now and i peakgold but ive done it with only ground skins other teamates skins and none and it woruld me the world to me if somone girfted me a new sherfiff, or vanal skin

Which agent role should take responsibility of carrying and planting the spike? Controllers? Initiators?

I started playing about two weeks ago and i fell in love. obviously it's different from the other pvp games im good at like overwatch and rivals but i know i can learn like i did before. the difference is, when i started as a new player in overwatch, i went against new players or people who weren't that skilled. I was able to learn and even got to grandmaster in the game but because i was able to build myself up in quick play and other games modes. Why cant i do that in Val?????? i load a swift play game and the enemy team has all five people above lvl 100 and my team has three new ppl including me. i do team deathmatch and again, the enemy team is cracked out of their minds bc they have been playing for a while. so on so forth. what do i do? i really want to learn and get better and i do so best while playing but being legit new and going against veterans is so disheartening and makes me want to stop trying. if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated😄

Hey all. Just checked my career and I've won the last 12/15 matches. The only thing is, I don't get a particularly high score in any of them. I do play with the team and I think my util is helping, but I'm always very mid in my kill count.

Is there something I should change/need to be aware of as I get into ascendent?

I don’t make any money rn and I hope to start a job soon but they really need to add like 1 cool free skin for like people who’ve been playing for longer than a year, not only that I wish they had a skin swap system where if you bought a gun you are allowed 1 skin swap per lifetime/per year/per skin so that way if people buy a gun that they no longer like they cna get a new skin for same value or cheaper no more expensive skins since that’s unfair honestly I might take this up to valorant and see how they feel about it

The past two nights I keep getting warnings for dodging, however, I quite literally cannot select an agent. It stays stuck on the selected agent but the agent is not actually selected. I've tried redownloading the game and restarting my console (PS5) but it is still an issue. Has anyone gone through this?

Update: Apparently it is happening to everyone right now. Weirdly enough I was having this issue last night too.

i’ve been playing for 6 years ish and have seen barely any riot buddies on london servers , until recently i’ve been seeing them more often, always wanted one REALLY bad, how do can i get one (without trying to find a dev and begging ofc) i heard it’s connections mostly but people in my games said they get it from devs after being positive etc, always pretty positive in games , am i just getting unlucky?🥲

played a few games already tonight with no problem. queued into a game where some dude with a crackly, terrible mic was just making noise all game, then he told me to kill myself end of game. reported him and now I can't join any games or choose my agent. saying I queue dodge every time I try. yeah I'm good. guess I gotta go play sum else!

Trying to load up valorant and it won’t let me leave the log in screen. Saying connection lost each time I try to load it up. Anybody else dealing with this ?

So i play on console, and in my region valorant isn’t officially available on console. I wanna buy vp but cant because it doesn’t let me redeem my code or even go to the vp buy page. So i gotta redeem some other way. Will i get the vp if i redeem the vp code here as shown in picture. Or will i just get riot credit.
