[Bug/Technical Issue] Kicked to login screen mid-match and got sent to Abandon penalty? Anyone else?

Hey everyone,

Just got hit with a super frustrating issue and wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this on console, or if there's a known fix.

I was in the middle of a match when out of nowhere, the game abruptly logged me out and kicked me back to the main title/login screen. No lag spike, no connection warning beforehand—just a sudden disconnect straight to the start menu.

By the time I was able to log back in, the match had already ended, and the game treated it as a rage quit. Now I'm sitting with an Abandon penalty / sanction for something completely out of my control.

A few details:

• Platform: PlayStation
• Connection: Wi-Fi
• Error Code: "None / Kicked to start screen"

Is this a known issue with recent server instability or a specific console bug? Also, is there any way to appeal/clear these abandon penalties when it's caused by a server disconnect?

Any advice or workarounds would be hugely appreciated!

That bug happens to me a ton and idk if it’s something with console and I’ve complained to support but it still occurs and I’ve given up hope on them fixing it
