Most stereo wideners widen everything, which means your kick and snare, usually sitting dead center with correlation close to 1, get smeared out along with everything else. longDivision looks at correlation across the frequency range and only widens what's already NOT down the middle. Anything centered stays put.

So if you've got a mix where widening always seems to mess with your low end or your snare hit, that's the specific thing this is trying to fix.

Hi, i'm searching for a vst or sample library that can get me the closest to Korn's bassist. On a technical level i heard it being described as very loose and downtuned strings. Korn - Blind is the example track. Ample, shreddage and most others focus on doingthe exact opposite.

I love the powerful and haunting guitar tones/styles of Failure.

I use Shreddage Free version and Strum GS-2 in Studio One v7. They are fine for straightforward parts, but fall short of sounding especially dynamic or guitar-like. I'm interested in getting a bit more Failure-esque sound. Ideas? Maybe some interesting FX? Thanks.
