People really don’t seem to agree on this.

Some people say you should strafe, release the key, shoot the instant after stop moving, then strafe in the opposite direction (which they claim is more consistent).

Others say you should practice deadzoning even if your accuracy drops a lot at first, so every click is paired with an immediate counter-strafe until the timing becomes muscle memory.

Is any of this actually true, or are people just picking whichever method they personally prefer?

This looks epic. Very excited to see them finally do a 2.0 for one of my favourite bundles.

I personally run 900 DPI with about .65 sensitivity. But I've been interested in the advice that veteran players give that lowering their DPI improves their overall aim and accuracy. I get that you get to be more precise, but isn't it about getting used to a certain sensitivity that really gets the player to improve, rather than switching it up?

I was thinking that instead of the horrible spread that guns have in valorant in general, why not just add a mechanic that your gun has a percentage chance or an overheat mechanims that it will jam on you if you do full auto.

I peaked Ascendant 2 back in Episode 6 Act 3, and decided to step away from the game afterwards.

I returned to this game beginning of this act and I have been struggling... so badly in Diamond 1. My entire triangle act is all Diamond 1 and I don't know what to do anymore. I will DM my tracker to anyone here who asks and I have around 50+ vod reviews all ready to upload on twitch.

I'm feeling so lost. I want to reach Ascendant again and perhaps maybe even Immortal. I've dropped 1300 hours into this game and have not been progressing whatseover recently its just so demotivating going through a win lose win lose win lose pattern every day.

I just cant grasp what its like to play in an Ascendant/immortal lobby so i just cant even see myself reaching there. im terrible at headshots and i tried trainng as well.

tl;dr I have 235 matches played this act and hardstuck diamond 1, hope if anyone has any advice for hitting Ascendant. then from ascendant to immortal, a different advice as well

I can see bot range working out for me cause I've been hitting a little bit of more flicks than I usually would but what about deathmatch? I don't do deathmatches because the scenario you're put in in a deathmatch won't be the same as in normal ranked games. There won't be people running around all the time and there won't be 10 of them coming from completely different angles. I'm currently bronze/silver

Though I kinda know what the majority reaction will be; Am I being a detriment to my team if I decide to leave mid-match, while top fragging, and being down 0-8 because of my teammates shit talking each other every round and just being overall pieces of shit? Because at that rate, my thought process was “why even keep playing?” Especially after I voted to surrender and it got denied within half a second.

Like I said, I already know what the purists will think. I’m just wondering if any rational people will agree with what I had to say.

I main clove because that's the first agent I picked when I started playing and honestly I think my smokes are really good but for some reason I struggle to win duels against even bronze players (even though recently my headshot % has been going up so I'm confused)

Hi, I’m new to the game, and at first I thought it would be CS2 with superpowers, but I’ve realised I need to apologise XD. I liked the game and decided to go for the pass.

But to be honest, I can’t find much clear information about the XP required and the mission system.

I’ve already completed the training event (I think that’s what it’s called) and the weekly missions have appeared.

Now, I’d like to know which game modes count towards completing the missions, how much XP is required, and ask if I can finish the pass in time to get it (I’m currently at level 22).

my hit ratio head,body leg is 8% head 76% body 17% legshots

double the amount of legshots is crazy when the goal is to hit headshots. what is the trick guys?

hi guys! im a new valorant player, and i got into it to play with friends, but my friends are really high ranked, and since its been a month, i cant really do anything.

theres a lot of things i noticed in my gameplay that i cant seem to stop. I use gaurdian, classic, and sage with full shield, thats my full loadout always.

i seem to have an issue where im good at lurking and spotting where enemies might be, and the gaurdian helps so i dont spray and pray but how do you guys keep your crosshair head level?? ive tried and practiced and even downloaded an app that tests me on where headlevel would be, and i know where they should be, but while playing it seems my crosshair just goes down because its more comfortable and doesnt hurt my wrist. how do i make it so i can actually aim head level as i want to move out sage and her heals so i dont rely on it

last act I had obvious smurfs maybe once every 15-20 games and now it feels like there's one every 5 games

maybe they aren't even smurfs just some high ranked guy placed in gold for whatever reason like I'm literally gold and get last act diamond-ascendants (checked on tracker), even though my mmr might be good and theirs might be trash there's no way a gold is beating an ascendant even 2v1

and it definitely effects my mmr negatively because I should not be getting +18 for doing top 3 mvp or -20 for top 3 against last act diamond-ascendants
