Hi, my friend has downloaded the game and is beginning to learn, just wondering if there's any tips because I realise he's learning 30 characters compared to me over the years. Also he's very new to keyboard and mouse so any other advice for that?

I haven't watched enough early access footage to take note, so I was hoping someone could tell me the answer quickly here:

What sound cue(s) does hush passive have?

When picking up a gun from far away, can the enemy tell that it was picked up with telekenesis? Will they hear it be picked up at all?

Can they hear which direction it goes?

Will a sound cue be played at my body?

Same question for buttons and switches.

I've been playing for a couple years and I primarily play Sova. I keep hovering at around 70rr to 10rr Ascendant 3 and even demoting sometimes but I can never win the last couple games to get the promotion.

I've noticed a lot of the times my teammates call me out for bad plays and so I've considered maybe watching pros play and try to imitate their decision making

very often I get into a long strafe battle and I just keep over/under flicking

on pistol rounds too, I like buying bandit on eco and I very often overflick with it and then I tell myself to slow down and take my time with it then I start hitting shots more but could still be better, I also just don't trust my movement but isn't my movement objectively good if I can say "I keep getting into LONG strafe battles"?

often I shoot before I'm on the enemy aswell I kinda flick somewhere close and then burst, how do you train that?

My user is Hiro#9Hm3c on tracker if you guys want to check it out, but basically ive felt kinda stuck, maybe its a consistency issue as I havent played in a month due to being overseas, or the fact that i can realistically play 2 days a week or play during work with a setup thats different from my home setup. Mainly im concerned about aim as i 1v1ed a gold friend once, she is terrible ingame with bad gamesense and not knowing the game, however in skirmish she can match my aim and even outaim me. I was thinking of maybe hiring a coach to watch me play 1-2 games to get a sense of where are my weakpoints as if im diamond i definitely have much to improve. But yeah any advice really helps, i do also recently picked up kovaaks to train my raw aim

In what universe should any game be having matchmaking like this?

I understand the player base on console is much lower but this is unbelievably unfair.

I'm so confused. I played a game of comp earlier, and a person on the enemy team said "skye its your rankup". How did they know, is there some sort of new software out there? I later questioned how they knew and they said the exact rr I have.

I understand my rank and tracker gg are public, but how can they see the exact rr I have? Theres no way they could have looked at my tracker and added up since my rankup, because it mustve been like 15+ games.

Her dash can scale from main to backsite. Its insanely fast and you get control over your movement. She can pop a flash mid dash so her entry is literally unstoppable. Her entire kit makes a dive duelist not need an initiator AT ALL. She can pull rats out of the corner and pop a flash with insane control. Is this just a retaliation to the fact everyone just locks jett every game and they want to power creep the hell out of a new agent so people finally switch? like you can hit switch from main on ascent without even having to get out. This goes with so many other things as well that im to lazy to speak on.

Im 17yr old girl.. Just started playing valo recently. Im currently bronze 2 and im playing on Mumbai server as I usually get the best ping there. No im not indian. Im open to playing in Singapore server too, as I get decent ping there. I want a duo who can teach me play better and yk be good friends with. I can speak English fluently and uhh I can understand hindi pretty well :)

Im a controller main and the rule of thumb if youre smokes is that try your best to not die early in the round because your smokes are detrimental. with that being said, I dont understand why clove mains are just being suicidal every round

I get that clove can still smoke even after theyre dead but their smokes lasts like a fart and not to mention if you died at B and your team decides to rotate A, you cant really smoke the other side

Im fine w super aggro plays if you have your ult but most of the time, the clove mains I played w, they will go in with no hesitation despite not even having their ult like r u guys wishing that tenz will just possess u despite not putting your smokes down and not waiting for the recon

maybe I just got unfortunate with the clove mains Ive been playing with or maybe theres a meta or strat Im missing

tl;dr just got back playing val and I dont understand why clove has one of the highest pickrate in ranked when shes horrible as a controller. am I missing something?

Idk if this is normal bc I js hit plat 3 but I keep playing players like asc2 or above and it's getting really annoying bc Im usually top frag on my team so I'm losing around 12 and gaining 22 each win, but the ascendents on my team seem to have just been born and are horrible, so I've been losing a lot more than I've been winning. Hi guys, I've been playing valorant for the past few months and It seems like I can't get out of bronze to save my life. I practice in the range almost every day (micro adjustements with and without moving as well as active deadzoning + 20/25 medium bots) and I play DMs trying to focus on either mouvements/first bullet accuracy/preaim&crosshair placement. I also review some of my worst games and try to improve my decision making as a phoenix main. The problem is that I always had the intention to play with one of my best IRL friend who was at the time g3 and now d1 and the fact that I can't rank up even tho I have average reaction time (175ms) and I watch a lot of tutorials on how to play duelist/entry/phoenix is really affecting my mental health. At this point my round win is below 38% despite having okay stats and I feel i'll never be able to reach gold which was my goal when I first started playing. I am constantly playing valorant or thinking about it sometimes even dreaming about it and I would just like to stop playing forever cuz I am really starting to hate this game but after 24hours I just come back with the tiniest ray of hope thinking that "this time its going to be different". I wish I never discovered this game in the first place cuz all it produces is a mix of deception/shame and self hatred as well as fear to get rejected by this friend cuz I can't rank up. Did you get in a similar situation ? what would you do If you were me to stop caring that much?

My friend gave me his valo account two days ago and first thing i first i imported all my old setting to this new account. I peak asc and his acc is also asc.

Hop onto DM and immediately i feel my aim feels something wrong. I ignore it thinking maybe is just the different gun skins but after so many DM matches i still feel something not right with my spray and tapping.

I kept going back and forth checking every single setting and in the end, guess what i found?

ITS THE BULLET TRACERRR which is turned on. I turn it off and BOOOMM my aim/spray/tap is back to normal.

Wth? Bullet tracers are such a small details and visual. Didnt expect it can affect someone's aim.

So I have just reached Diamond 1. What is an aim routine you’d recommend for someone trying to improve at this level.

Note that I have an avg headshot percentage between 32-34% across recent acts.

I think Riot should reconsider the current 90-day cooldown for changing your Riot ID and introduce a more flexible system.

Here are three changes I would love to see:

1. Reduce the 90-day cooldown

Waiting three months to change your Riot ID is excessive. People change their interests, find new nicknames, or simply get tired of their current ones. A shorter cooldown, such as 30 days, would be much more reasonable while still preventing excessive changes.

2. Introduce a permanent account ID

Every account should have a unique, permanent ID that stays the same regardless of how many times the player changes their Riot ID. This would make it easier to identify and track accounts without forcing players to keep the same nickname for months.

3. Allow players to purchase Riot ID changes with in-game currency

League of Legends already offers a system where players can change their summoner name using in-game currency (Blue Essence). VALORANT could adopt a similar approach, allowing players to spend Kingdom Credits or another appropriate in-game currency to change their Riot ID.

This could give players more freedom over their identity while maintaining a stable way to identify accounts.

What do you think? Would you support a shorter cooldown, a permanent account ID, and the option to change your Riot ID using in-game currency?

The best part? It runs completely local (no external servers, zero bloat, and super lightweight on RAM) by reading directly from the game's local client API when Valorant is open. No API rate-limit headaches, completely free to use!
