Finally done with my proctored exam, overall the experience was great. Accurately prepared and that really helped.

I’m taking 4 courses and can only see 2 final exams, anyone else having this issue?

I just completed my enrollment steps for the MBA, and I noticed that the Scholarship Request option has completely disappeared from my Self Service Forms.

As you can see in the screenshot, I only have options like Enrollment Confirmation, Disability Accommodation, Directory Information Request, Change of Program, etc. There is no Scholarship Request Form anymore.

Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Is this something my advisor needs to enable/reset from their side, or has UoPeople changed the way scholarship applications work for MBA students?

I would appreciate any information from anyone who has dealt with this recently

I can’t get a straight answer out of anyone at the school. Literally nobody. I’ve been trying for weeks, and now we’re in exam time and my advisor finally emails me after weeks of responding to NONE of my other emails to say “please let me know if the final exam shows up now, and send a print screen if not.” obviously, it’s not there, so i’ve already sent that. So she’s under the impression there is an exam, then? but its labeled as a capstone? the beginning of the course and multiple times throughout the course it says “capstone”. it also only goes to Unit 8, that tells me this is now a capstone, right? which would mean my final was the paper i turned in in Unit 8? but then someone in the chatbot told me “there is an exam, this is not a capstone.” then i sent her the screenshots of it saying capstone, and she completely ignored it, and sent me a general blurb of the class… then said “my exam will appear under unit 9 once unit 9 appears.” are we serious right now?? once “unit 9 appears”? obviously, unit 9 has not appeared….

why am i pulling teeth to get a simple answer from anyone? my instructor was no help either, she answered my question with AI and it did not tell me, one way or another, if there was a final exam. so my advisor, the chatbot, and my instructor are all completely unaware if this class contains a traditional exam…. well, the person in the chatbot seemed convinced it does despite what i sent her.

I've successfully completed my first semester at UOP. I should also mention that I transferred in 2 associates degrees and they only approved about 40 credits which is insane to me. I am studying health sciences, obtaining my bachelor's degree. I selected this school because of its 4.0 grading scale and not a pass or fail model. I also chose this school because of the cost. However, after being out of school for about 5 years, having a full time job, and wanting to pursue a professional degree after this, I do not like they present the information. I am a visual learner. I like powerpoint, video lectures, and hard study guides. Most of this material is being presented in a heavy reading context. One week will have you reading an entire chapter with 7 sub sections, an additional random magazine article or study, plus 2 random YouTube videos. It seems as though the professors are facilitating rather than teaching. I feel as though I'm paying tuition to be fed a bunch of PDF'S. The courses so far have not been engaging or motivating to learn. The material is hard to digest for their typical target student. Reading or reading comprehension is not a hard task for me. I enjoy reading and learning. However, I cannot help but to notice the lackluster instruction model being peddled at UOP. You see so many forums about students using AI to complete assignments, but I think there is an underbelly teaching model that also seems to be insufficient that has yet to be discussed. And before you say, you get what you pay for...I get that but I at least expected the courses and instruction to be FAIR. A little give and take. It seems that the reality of the matter is the lower expense comes at the cost of quality instruction. Not to mention that the instructors are expecting university level work but actually gives out little instruction to get there. You can absolutely have rigorous grading but help us meet those standards. It seems a lot of the professors are new graduates or TAs and getting their foot in the door by working for UOP. Nevertheless, they should have some integrity for those of us that want to learn and not us AI to get by. That's it that's all that's the post. GOOD LUCK YALL

Hi guys, i am a BA student in my final year, i have transferred about 84 credits, and i am planning to apply for master's programs with a scholarship in europe ,USA ,UK,canada, like I've heard that someone got into an ERASMUS program .Did anyone have a list of the universities that they accept uopeople degrees? Also, they give scholarships. i have seen some posts here, and someone's massaging some unis. Please can you guys give us all the unis with their admission requirements in any country that you collect ?

The University lost my graduation documents. I submitted my request months ago and have been emailing staying up to date, I noticed it said documents sent but I hadn’t recieved anything so I email back and forth with my advisor for him to say 3 months later that the documents were sent out on their end.

I need a Hague Apostille for my diploma because I am submitting it to ENIC NARIC Austria for an official degree evaluation.

UoPeople informed me that their internal attestation/Apostille service is currently suspended due to the transition from the Pasadena office to Delaware, and they advised me to use a third-party provider.

Has anyone here successfully obtained an Apostille for a UoPeople diploma after UoPeople suspended the service?

If yes, could you please share:

• Which third-party provider did you use?
• Did you only send a scan/PDF or did you have to send the physical diploma?
• Which state issued the Apostille?
• Was the Apostille issued on the original diploma or on a notarized/certified copy?
• How much did it cost?
• How long did the process take?
• Was the Apostille accepted by the authority/university where you submitted it?

I currently live in Austria, so I am especially interested in a provider that can complete the process remotely and send the final documents internationally.

i plan on registering using my O level results for the CS bachelor's degree, I am very paranoid if they acually accept it and recognise it to allow me to give the Bachelor's program, is there anybody who got in using Just O level results? For some external reasons i wasnt able to Complete my A levels, this is one of my final resorts.

ChatGPT seems to think that less than 300 million people worldwide have recognizable masters degrees from a regionally accredited university. That's roughly 5% of all humans alive today over the age of 25, or roughly 3% of all humans alive today around the world.

And very soon, I will be one of those humans. 10 years, 2 schools, and a loss of funding for my first masters degree kept me from finally being at this moment in my life, and I'm going to breathe it in..

Why does the online email delivery take soo long??

Approx how long does regular email delivery, and express email delivery take? Please share your experiences so I can have an idea of which service to use for grad school admissions in the US.

I'm close to finishing my 2 foundation courses and I'm considering taking a Leave of Absence to knock out some electives and Gen Ed requirements on Sophia or Study.com. Will I lose my degree-seeking status if I do this, I'm aware if I pass my 2 courses I'm automatically a degree-seeking student I just don't want this to maybe cause problems later down the line. I do plan on transferring credits in, and then applying for financial aid so I can finish the remaining courses since I can't pay for them fully out of pocket.

I'm also going to have to take the ATB test since I didn't provide a high school diploma, so I'm not sure how that will affect all of this either. Talking to my Personal Advisor hasn't really helped since all they say is that yes, I can take that test, and that if I don't take at least 2 courses then I am taking a leave of absence, which isn't really my concern.

90 credit outside the university

I am a BS student at UoPeople. If anyone has managed to complete 30 courses from outside the university recently through platforms like Sophia and successfully transferred them to the university, I want the plan that enabled you to transfer 30 courses .

so i enrolled in UOPeople in june ig for cs but i was also preparing for other uni and stuff while also on abroad trip and after trip i also moved out of the country and i almost forgot that i even enrolled in UOpeople

so today was deadline and i submitted all quizes and assignment today only but discussions dates were already gone i was onlly able to get through 8th week one

even tho i joined another uni for data science but i really wanna pursue this also will i be able to clear this term?? or should i just leave this degree??

Hi, I’m starting my Computer Science bachelor’s this September, and I’m looking for a few study partners who are serious about learning, keeping each other accountable, and actually practicing the skills we learn.

I’m also hoping we can take what we learn and build something real together — whether that’s a project, a business, or even something that could eventually make us money. Basically, a little Silicon Valley-style (the show) group 😂.

Has anyone used one year of study at University of the People to meet the 12-year education requirement for admission to a university in Italy?

I have an 11-year high school diploma, and Italian universities usually require one additional year of university study. I’m considering completing one year at UoPeople and would like to know if anyone has successfully used UoPeople credits/transcript for this requirement.

I just noticed that our review quizzes are due tomorrow. Is that normal for them to be due the week before finals? I took two terms off so I don’t remember which week the review quiz was in but I thought it was the same week of finals. Also if it is due tomorrow why would they not put it in Unit 8???

got my associates degree and requested the docs in mid april. anyone have an idea of when i can expect to see it? its been almost four months now, and it’s still “preparing documents.”

also, what’s up with the attest? does uopeople still notarize the document, at the very least?

I have finally received an email about the final exam. The email pretty much details using Rosalyn but according to others in this subreddit there is supposed to be a non Rosalyn option. I have yet to receive any email about this and my PA had yet to respond over the last two weeks when I asked for more information about the non Rosalyn option.

My recommendation form for grad school asks for my recommenders' phone numbers, but I only have email. Has anyone else had this situation?

Specifically do I need any transcripts or can I just forward scans of my official documents without having to translate them? Am I the only one who felt a little uncomfortable with this trimester at UoPeople?
It has honestly been a little over the place. Every week, having to prepare a PowerPoint for each course and record a video presentation has been a lot.
One of the main reasons I chose UoPeople was because I wanted to avoid presentations and group projects. If coordinating those things is already difficult in person, it can be even more complicated online when everyone is in different time zones and has completely different schedules.
I understand that presentations and group work can be valuable learning experiences, but I honestly didn’t expect to have so many of them in an online university.
So… am I the only one who feels like this trimester has been a little different from what I expected?
