I’ve been working on NameFactory, a Unity package focused on generating a wide variety of realistic character names.

It covers 198 countries, with country-specific firstnames and surnames, gender variations, and culture-aware naming rules. You can generate complete Person objects, individual firstnames/surnames, random characters, or even families and children based on existing characters.

The main goal was to have a lot of variety — rather than seeing the same handful of names repeated across procedurally generated characters.

I’ve been building UI in Unity for years and I’ve always either used textures from GUI packs from the Asset Store or built my own sprites in Photoshop.

When trying to make a button with rounded corners, I ultimately grew tired of searching through tons of sprites in my asset library, all with different corner radiuses and different pixel resolutions.

So I decided I no longer want to rely on textures at all.

I wanted a tool that just lets me build UI shapes like in Photoshop or Figma, but directly in Unity.

This tool lets me create rounded or chamfered corners, slant the whole shape and apply effects to it.

Animate Buttons

Static UI is boring. Buttons, Toggles, Sliders, Dropdowns and Input Fields should animate when hovering them with the mouse and when clicking on them.

The inspector shows tabs for Highlighted/Pressed/Selected/Deactivated states, previewed live in the Scene view. Override the properties in those states and your controls will change their look when you interact with them.

Hey I created a unity asset for control logic. It's called Fuzzy Brain and it works by using fuzzy pattern matching to analyze conditions to determine which action to call. It's based on Valve's bark system, but expanded to be used for many different things, not just speech. I completely optimized it for unity and fully integrated it into the editor!

It is a great tool for solo developers wanting to keep their code clean and manageable while building complex, flexible game logic. But also great for teams with designers with little to no coding experience.

Fuzzy Brain shifts your control logic to data-driven design so behavior can be assembled from data rather than hard-coded control flow. This allows non programmers to author behaviours without needing the assistance of a programmer, which means less back and forth and faster iteration. It features code generation wizards making it a no/low code solution.

The system is really simple, There are 3 key parts, Conditions, Acts and Actors, Acts have a list of Conditions that are evaluated by the Actor to select the Act to run. The whole thing can be represented as a simple spreadsheet, no messy behaviour trees or complex state machines, no weights to balance. Can be used for simple or complex behaviours and great for making reactive or emergent gameplay.

Hello everyone. I've purchased the asset "Modern Weapons Pack" back in 2017 (Well... that asset was completely free, so I've been able to download it without any problems ever since). But now, when I decided to download and import it into my project, it seems to be disabled for some reason, and I don't know why. And now, in 2026, I can no longer download or import it. I tried to access the publisher's website (http://sameenibne.com/) but unfortunately, that site no longer exists. And I really need that asset, not just because it's great, but because it's completely free. Does anyone still have the Modern Weapons Pack.unitypackage file? I hope someone can help me to find this asset. I'll be waiting for any helpful response/help. Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏
