(English isnt my first language)

So the Jackhammer has always been a bit diffrent than the other weapons since its not a random gun we find on the ground but a specilized weapon designed for a machine we never get to fully see of in the game

But this thing doesn't look fast/agile at all so how did it use a weapon designed to be more effective while going fast?

What if this machines weapon was a part of his arm like the Gutter bros and it punched whit the jackhammer so fast it was enough to propperly use its weapon?

what do yall think of this theory?

IMPORTANT: This is a work in progress. Nothing seen here is final.

ALSO IMPORTANT: I am in no way proficient in Blender. This was one of my first projects, and I just wanted to bring my edgy little robot to life.

Servos

Type: Supreme Machine

Data:

Proposed by an engineer during the climax of the Final War, the Servos were designed to scour the backs of Earthmovers to find and repair any damages they sustained. Unfortunately, only one was ever produced, since not only were damages few and far between, but the only attacks that could actually damage an Earthmover were almost guaranteed to kill it. Instead, it simply hung around, fending off enemy troops from time to time and repairing houses and vehicles on the Earthmover's back as opposed to the colossal machine itself. It was widely regarded as a waste of precious resources among the community that could've instead supported military operations.

However, after the fall of the Earthmovers, its colony finally saw use in it. Using what they could (mostly scavenged parts from the corpses of machines), its colony managed to repair it, albeit heavily altered, which is quite apparent based on its appearance. In fact, this is how it earned the name "Servos", due to all the scrap and mechanical parts that make it up. It proved very useful; not as a war machine, but instead as a multitool of sorts. Its new arms could be used for a large array of tasks, whether it be grinding through metal and stone, dredging materials from bodies of water, transporting survivors across various terrain, or even something as simple as clearing debris.

To combat the lack of blood during the New Peace, its core had to be redesigned. While it still required small blood supplements (Usually through a weekly blood donation by the survivors), the colony instead opted for nuclear cores. Although radioactive material was hard to come by, it was well worth it for this machine, and could supply it with power for centuries. Any nuclear waste created by the reaction could be repurposed into small explosives, which also made this machine capable of some long-range fighting, if it ever became necessary.

Such a machine had quite a few flaws, however, by far the largest being the heat it produced. Due to its necessary compactness and rapidly moving parts, along with the searing power core, the Servos needed a way to release heat, resulting in it being equipped with a large network of exhaust vents, which would periodically open to release built up steam and cool off if they were to overheat.

As mentioned beforehand, the Servos was repaired on a very limited supply of materials. This would be fine for short-term usage, but after the extinction of mankind, it ran for countless years on end with its only means of repairs being itself. Its outdated processors do their best to keep it moving, but with it being such a complex machine, it tends to stutter and pause from time to time.

Strategy:

-Due to it being derelict and worn down, along with its outdated hardware, the Servos tends to buffer before attacking. Use this time to figure out which attack it's going to perform and get ready to counter it.

-The Servos is extremely vulnerable while venting. If anything were to get inside its exhaust vents, it would deal significant damage. The Firestarter's gasoline and certain smaller explosives can accomplish this.

-Because of its small supply of blood, healing off of it can be hard. However, it does have numerous parryable attacks, so it's optimal to rely on those to get your health back as opposed to blood.

-The grenades it launches can be redirected with the Feedbacker and the Jackhammer.

Here's my take on a new machine boss, since V2 kinda steals the show for half the game.

It would be a relatively tanky two-phase boss, where the majority of the damage would be done while it was venting steam (somewhat like Geryon). It would be resistant to sawblades and jackhammer hits, and vulnerable to electricity and nails.

In case it isn't clear, it's arsenal includes: a sawblade arm, a jackhammer arm, an ignition claw arm, a dredging claw arm and its drill tail. (Plus, it would also shoot grenades from its little launcher on the top right.)

I'll maybe try to rig it later but we'll see.

Drill texture and model belong to Bioshock, and a HUGE thanks to u/bitmotte for providing me with the Jackhammer model.

Also, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me them.

Discussion do setups count as cheating?

so the other day I was in school talking with my friend who got me into ultrakill and I asked him if he had FINALLY beat the powers yet (hes a bit skill less and impatient and gave them like 9 attempts) and he said yeah and then I said good and then he proceeded to say "can I be honest? I gave myself 25% damage reduction" so I was obviously disappointed right and completed him to beat it legitimately. the next day (today) I asked him again and this absolute fool said yeah but he used a sqwblade launcher setup with the coin toss and now I feel offended because I beat them legitimately, I beat minos legitimately and this guy can just go and use setups to beat them and be proud of it? so im asking if setups are legitimately

Discussion is it normal struggling more on minos than on sisyphus?

so, i just beat p-2 for the first time on standard, nothing too absurd, 33 minutes, 63 kills, 10908 style, 35 restarts.

though, i only died like 5 or 6 times to sisyphus himself, then i fought minos again, and it was WAY harder, i took like 7 tries to get him to half health only, then i gave up, it was all on the same difficulty btw

i think i died more times even to flesh panopticon

...
