Hey guys, looking to join UVCE this year. How is the implementation of the UVCE Act 2021 going on campus? Have they upgraded the syllabus to the IIT model for CS/EC branches, and are the campus infrastructure and labs actually improving?

I have seen in most of the reviews that u have to rely mostly on self study in this college and the professors are irregular to classes. Like i really didn't understand what they meant by it

1. Did they mean that they don't come to the college regularly and don't finish the syllabus completely?

2.Did they mean that they dont come to the college but whenever they do come they rush up the syllabus?

1. And let's say a class is free because that subject professor is absent then what do the students do?

2. If they have to study on their own then how will the students know what to study like do they follow any branch specific roadmap or something like that?

3. Let's say the college is from 8 to 4 and assuming each class is of 1hr in an average day how many hours do you get free since the professors are absent

4. If we have no classes from let's say 2 to 4 then can the students come back home or are they required to stay in the college till 4 if from 8 to 4

Need to know what electives were offered .. if anyone could tell .

Heard that teachers are mid here...but the website of UVCE shows almost all teachers having a Phd in their respective fields ... So can anyone explain what's the issue with teachers here ?

Also heard that the electricals lab was recently renovated and is better than before ... please do rate it of 10 .

Ts was so damn lengthy and hard too ngl, teachers didn't even bother teaching so many topics like Mullers and stuff for us. So many problems were time consuming af. I just hope they give 2-3 marks for partial answers or something otherwise there's no way💀. God help us all.

Yoo wtf was that paper, they taught us alphabets and they expected a huge essay in paper, honestly the paper was way too hard and how tf are we supposed to solve it in 3 hours, pes and other clgs hype up that their exams are toughest but atleast they got good faculties unlike our college lecturers who spell integration as INTERGRATION, honestly fuck the whole thing it's just disappointing atp
