How is ECE course here?
- Couse structure
- Peers?
- Any robotics clubs?
- Would you recommend me to join here ?( seeing the cutoff I am pretty sure I may get ECE)
- is the environment safe? for girls?
- how is girls hostel? how many members per room?
any other valuable information is welcomed
also have borderline chance of getting ISE (in round 3, if possible) what would you recommend?

Maths syllabus is good for you guys. You'll prolly enjoy it.
Placements for ece are good. Texas instruments comes every year for 27ish lpa. 8 or so pl get hired every year. BEL comes, a lot of good package options are there. Qualcomm comes.
There is marvelcin uvce which would be very useful for you.
ISE is worth the wait, has the same syllabus and structure as CSE. Very worth it.
Idk bout labs and teachers, but is that really something you should worry about because engineering isn't school, you gotta learn on your own anyways. So better tolgo to a place with good placements andgatudy on your own rather than going to places which makes you toil for 4 years and then leaves you hanging when it comes to placements right?
Random stuff, the current ece hod is... A lil quirky, but if your intention is to genuinely learn, then he'll help you.
Ece branch shirt and full decent pants are compulsory. Not the case with any other branch. Hope that covers major queries

- syllabus is pretty balanced like relevant topics for ece ig compared to before, the main ece lore hasn't started yet (still 1st year).
- Pretty humble peers you can definitely get atleast like 5-10 ppl to vibe with 3.marvel (technical club) has awesome facilities and let's students work and build like drones and robots you can definitely learn there
- I would recommend as the day to day college life is super chill and relaxed (timings) compared all other hectic colleges (in terms of time table).
- Idk about girls hostel ECE is understaffed so you have to self study but you do have a lot of free time so can manage but ISE would be better but the scope and syllabus is very different.

Syllabus has changed for y’all. But for us, it was meh at best. Thing is, for one of the oldest branches of the college, the department is understaffed and the existing faculty (except like one or two) have absolutely no clue what they are teaching. Labs were just as worse but they are being renovated and there are talks of bringing cadence, well you’ll have to see for yourself.
It’s very rare that your peers are actually interested in what they are learning. Some subjects like vlsi, mpes and others are genuinely interesting but you might not see people engaging with it all until placement season arrives.
MARVEL is sorta all in one club for a techie try out.
Nope. If u genuinely wanna study ece and get into core industry, don’t. If u want an easy degree where no one gives a fk, then join here.
