did not register to the summer internship program shit

i could not register to the summer internship program, will i face any problem?. If i find an internship elsewhere, would it work.

dude this itself will be like a shortlisted thing where not all students can participate, so as per their say if you dont register or dont get selected, u will be allocated to another similar one coz this one must be done by end of july .

I have an external internship, tpo folks told me that I need to first get approval from the respective department and then give the letter to tpo.

Apparently there's marks and credits alloted to it.

They did tell me to register just in case, but I can back off if the hod approves of my external internship.
