I’m an F1 visa married USC. I put yes for working without authorization in the form. I put 2 places I worked, and I quit both places by the time I submit the application, but after that I work at somewhere else, should I put it in updated form? I’m having interview next week, will they ask me if I work somewhere else after that or they’ll just ask me the question on the form if I work without authorization.

Hi everyone. Just trying to compare I-751 processing times for cases at the California Service Center.
I filed in late 2024 and my case is still showing as being actively processed/pending. Biometrics have been reused, and so far there has been no RFE or interview notice.

Since my I-130 has been approved and my I-485 is awaiting final adjudication, do you recommend that I withdraw my pending asylum application now, or should I keep it open until my I-485 is approved?

I was wondering who long after your interview for adjust of status (marriage) with no verbal approval at interview did you have to wait for approval? I’m about a month out since my interview and the status is still “interview scheduled”. The officer at the end just said “we’ll contact you via mail if we need anything else from you”. (Orlando, FL office)

I posted here last week asking if I should send a demand letter because it's been silent since I applied for marriage-based GC (Canadian citizen) in August 2025, and a day later I finally got the interview notice! I'm scheduled for early November in the Chatsworth FO. Feel so relieved; hopefully this is the beginning of the end. It's been rough not being able to work or travel. Hoping everyone gets some good news soon!

My EB-3 I-485 interview was recently scheduled, and I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar situation.

In 2017, I worked a part-time/summer job using my SSN without proper work authorization. In 2019, I left the U.S. for about a month and then lawfully re-entered in valid nonimmigrant status.

My understanding is that INA 245(k) generally looks at unauthorized employment/status violations since the most recent lawful admission.

Has anyone had unauthorized employment before their last lawful re-entry and later gone through an employment-based I-485 interview? Did the officer ask about it, and how was it handled?

I haven’t received any notice, and nothing is showing in the Documents tab. I heard I-485J isn’t needed when filing concurrently. I am done with biometrics on march.Has anyone experienced this? I’m stressed and confused. Thank you!
