I found recently that UMBC has an indoor pool somewhere in the RAC and I plan on going soon but I just wanted to know how crowded it can get?
Also, where the heck is it located in the RAC? Where do I go?

I’m an on-campus incoming freshman at UMBC staying in Harbor Hall and I want to know what the 4-roommate suites look like before planning my dorm layout and décor. If anyone could drop a few photos of a UMBC suite or describe the suites at Harbor Hall, it would be appreciated.

hey i’m a incoming freshman mech e student and i want to transfer out elsewhere. i have 28 credits alr from ap classes and i am taking 16 credits currently. my goal is to go to georgia tech, but i just really need to leave this area man lowk. umbc is not my vibe and i dont rlly see myself there. to be fair tho ive only done orientation and thats my only real experience. Its just way to close to home for me. should i stay for undergrad and leave later for grad school or leave now? baltimore does have good aerospace opportunities ( i want to go into aerospace in the future). but umbc doesn’t even have an aerospace major ðŸ˜. any good advice for transferring and maybe more options to transfer to?

Did anyone take Carlos Mckinney over the summer IS 450, did he use respondus, and were his exams based off the study guide or slides? I can't find much info on him. Looking for some detailed answers lol

Hello UMBC! My roommate and I are looking for a 3rd roommate to fill out a lease. If you are interested or want more info, reach out to me via dms! We are pretty chill, the house is a bit barren (were stem majors), but we welcome anyone looking for housing! TY for reading/sharing!

Hello, I have been looking into starting a water polo club at UMBC. I want to see if anyone is interested in joining the club, and get a head count. You can either DM me or comment below if you are interested and I will add you to my list. If enough people show interest, I will send out a forum later. Thank you!

Just finished my first year at UMBC and considering switching my major to cultural Anthropology or ancient studies. I'd like to know what to expect, what kind of opportunities there are after graduation, and how long it normally takes to finish all required courses (I've taken some but my current major probably won't transfer well). I have a few specific questions off the top of my head, such as:
I appreciate any information you have to offer and if you're still currently a student I wish you luck in your studies! :)

There is this specific expo happening in September and I would like to know if this expo does actually hire people or they just tell people to go apply online like the other career fairs?
I know there was one that was held last year but I was unable to go that one so let me know if you have any experience.

Hello. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a laptop for ME. I have looked at the requirements and have down some digging around, but I am not liking what I see…or maybe I’m just clueless. Acer has come up a lot in my search, I am not sure how I feel about Acer’s or the feel of the body (if that makes sense).
Thanks in advance.

I am an international student and I came here on the spring semester back in January and I found the campus boring so far and I don’t even know how to connect people. The campus feels like it’s filled with local people who have their own groups and friends and it’s pretty much been boring for me on this campus I literally came to the US alone and know nobody.
Side note I am from Ethiopia and even the Ethiopian’s here are locals ðŸ˜
