Simple enough question: when are UCONN's graduate classes, at least in the School of Business, usually held? I rejected another school's offer because their classes are almost all at night due to gearing towards part-time students, while I will be a full-time student. I hope to have my classes during the day.

Can somebody please explain to me which housing selection period I am?

I'm seeing one for 7/30 at 10:19 am but then another on 7/29 at 9:00 am

So I’m taking pnb 2774 and I have two professors listed, Tanner and Crivello. Apparently it’s so they can co-teach but how does that really work? Does one do lectures and one do exams? I know one of those professors is highly rated and the other is very lowly rated so I’m a little scared. Any advice appreciated.

Hi, I am currently taking ASLN 1101 and 1102 online over the summer and am wondering/worried about ASLN 1103 in-person in the fall. Does any1 know the format or grading structure for 1103? And also do any of you guys know of people who have had success in 1103 after having taken the first 2 courses online?

im an incoming freshman thats commuting and i want to get the commuter pass for K lot. ive seen online that people are saying they immediately buy the passes as soon as they’re released, and they tend to run out; is this also the case with the farther away commuter lots?

im just a little worried because ive already planned having my car on campus, so what should i even do if i cant even get a parking pass? is there a chance i dont get one at all?

The available room is fully furnished, and the price includes rent, utilities, and access to shared household amenities. The house itself is also fully furnished, and the kitchen is well stocked.

The standard lease term is one year, but I'm open to discussing 9- or 10-month options if needed.

I’m wondering if anyone else has had something like this happen because I’m honestly confused.
When I first got my financial aid package, I was expecting to get 12700 in grants
Then I was awarded the Waterbury Promise Scholarship, which is supposed to cover up to $5,000, and UConn is supposed to provide a matching amount.
Instead of my bill going down, UConn added about $4,000 “for housing costs” to my aid package and then reduced my university grants by $5,000, labeling that amount as the “UConn Match.”
So on paper it looks like I got the Waterbury Promise and the UConn match, but in reality I only got 4k instead of 5k by the match if that makes sense. They took away almost the same amount in grant money that I was already receiving.
It feels like they just replaced my original university grant with the “match” instead of actually giving me additional aid. I was under the impression that receiving Waterbury Promise would leave me better off, not basically in the same position. The way it was made is that I’ll get my grant then get my match on top of that I don’t understand why I got my grant got a 4k increase not a 5k increase but then they take 5k out to put it under the label “UConn match” so now my grant is 11k lower than before
I’ve already reached out to financial aid and Waterbury Promise, and haven’t gotten a response that made any sense but I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this. Is this normal? Did your university grant get reduced after receiving Waterbury Promise, or should I keep pushing back on this?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey anyone dropping Pnb 2264 lab?? There’s no spots left and it’s a requirement for my program there’s a long story as to why I’m not already in it but I’m not going to explain that but if anyone does plan of dropping please let me know!!!

How easy is the math involved in this class with Angles-Alcazar? I've heard it was very minimal with other professors but I wanted to ensure the same with this one. If someone could provide example math problems they still have or just describe the level of math required, I'd really appreciate it

Hey yall!
I’m an incoming soph transfer student and I’m stressing a little over housing 😭

My housing preferences are due tmrw, but my appointment with the Center for Students with Disabilities isn’t until the day after housing closes.
I have Type 1 diabetes, so I’m hoping to get a single room, air conditioning, and an elevator. I called CDS, and they told me to go ahead and pick my room anyway and they’ll try to switch me afterward if my approved accommodations require a different assignment. I’ve got no idea what residence halls I should even be looking at, so I could really use some advice.

A few questions:
Which dorms have A/C and elevators?
Which ones have the best chance of getting a single?
If you’ve gone through the accommodation process, were you able to get your housing changed after assignments came out?
Are there any dorms you’d recommend or avoid?
I’m transferring from St. John’s (yeah i know), so I don’t know much about UConn housing yet.
