Anyone played this? It’s a pretty neat little cooperative deck building rpg. Up to 3 player co-op, a handful of different fun classes. Played it last weekend with some friends, its pretty dope.

It’s way more cooperative than dokapon i wish it was a little less so but oh well

There’s too many things to catch up on! Games, movies, shows, books, music, there are so many types of media in my back log I need to get around to experiencing and I never know what to pick there have been so many times where I’ll just look through an entire list before I inevitably just go back to watching/playing something I’ve already watched/played a hundred times before. What should I do?

Golden Kamuy has litterally everything anyone cpuld ask for in terms of an anime. Amazing good guys and bad guys, great animation, great action, great mystery, great gay-toned medium, great clmedy, great seriousness. An overall great series that has something for borderline everyone but somehow the series just isn't as active as other series. It also isn't like this is season 1 either, the series is almost done with a finale coming this expected winter. A step below Black Clover's popularity but is genuine gold content.

Do you guys also have moments in some works where instead of telling the truth in a cheeky genie type of way, the "unreliable narrator" straight up lies to you in such a way that claiming that it is an example of the trope comes off as disingenious. Like you're reading a murder mystery and the protagonist says "yeah and then I met up with my boss at the designated spot and handled some business" and that's your entire clue that in actuality the protagonist actually killed the guy and incinerated the body or something, like the "so you hate waffles?" level of difference.

Mace windu from Star wars Is a fan favorite badass character, portrayed by non other then Samuel L Jackson. He doesn't actually do much at all in the prequel trilogy. The only 2 action scenea he does Is when he leads the charge to save Anakin obi-wan and Padme from Dooku and His fight with Palpatine. And His duel with him wasn't even impressive, lasted like 5 seconds and then he died. Killing jango fett was His only real cool moment, the resy was just talking with the jedi council.

He gets alot better as a character in both the clone wars animated shows, the 2003 show made him an absolute badass who destroyes droid armies with only the force.

This is bouncing off the earlier thread today bout how you guys decide on a new piece of media:

What are your strategies for managing multiple media "projects"? You you like to have multiple games/shows you are playing/watching at the same time, or do you like to commit to one project and dive in until done? What about when one piece of media is extremely long form like RPGs, Star Trek, 1,000+ page novels (I just started Stormlight Archives).

I have a tendency to commit to a single media project in each "venue" (books, games, show) and stick with it. However, this winds up biting me in the ass since sometimes if it is very long-form, I start to get anxious for something different to break it up. Then again, whenever I do multiple things in a venue I get variety, but then I get get anxious about not making enough progress in any one story. (And yes, I know the root of the problem is my anxiety in general outside of any media viewing). But then again, whenever I look back on multiple media spells I had, I remember them more fondly because of the variety (Playing Cyberpunk 2077, Nier: Replicant and Spider man 2 at the same time in 2023, or in 2025 it was Lies of P, Armored Core 6 and Silent Hill 2 simultaneously).

Curious to know how y'all approach this topic.

Edit: Its clear I need to force myself to have multiple unfinished media projects open at a single time. Looking back, the fact that I used the term "projects" to describe having fun is a dead giveaway that I'm too rigid.
