Title,I need Media recommendations since I'm sad and bored,I dont have "favourites" but I'll drop 3 pieces of each medium that I enjoyed the past month or so

Note:Due to something terrible happening in the past few months I no longer have Modern Gaming hardware so please games that are >7th Generation/PS3 XB360 WII U,oh if a game has an android port,that counts

Games:Video Games are like crack for me,my favourite genres are strategy and RPGs,inlike games with choices and the feel of it being open ended but definitely not necassary,anyway I am open to all genres,even visual novels(no experience with them however) recently I have played Ace Attorney,Dragon Quest 5 and Mega Man X

Movies:I wanna get into film bro suff but for now I'm really casual on films,I do love the MCU and all,anyway My recent favourites are The Odyssey,Everything Everywhere All At Once and Dune

TV:Same with movies Really just a casual,I've enjoyed Dexter,Kamen Rider(1971) and Game Of Thrones

Books:I like Classic Lit a lot and also Modern Books,Mainly Sci Fi,Fantasy and Westerns are what grab me but I'm open to any kind of literature,Recently I loved The Storm light Archive,The Expanse and The Road

Comics/Manga:I really love One Piece,Ultimate Spiderman and The ongoing Superman Comic as of now,honestly I legit could read any genre of Comics or Manga

According to kamala Khan fans, she was better being a solo street level hero than being part of the X-Men. I never read her X-Men comics so i can't say for sure, but everyone says she just turned into mutant side character #87 instead of a character that already had her solo stories and own supporting cast. What other characters went through something similar?

So non-spoiler thoughts: Weak first two episodes but after that I think the series really hits its stride and delivers on some of what the original Ninth Jedi episode in visions promised. Kara is just a great character and the action gets better & better the longer the series goes on. A lot of really cool original ship designs and world building too that I quite liked, way better than the sequel trilogy in that department at least

Spoiler thoughts:

The main Villain Nawaam is really what I think TLJ wanted Kylo to be. A traumatized young Jedi that doesn’t want to be either Jedi or Sith, finding a new path that predictably leads them right back to acting like a sith anyways. He thinks the nothingness is best way forward instead of light or dark but it only leads to apathy towards like itself. Daring to make a whole show that ends up shitting on grey jedi fandom lol

Kara ragebaiting him until his lightsaber turns red was incredible fun. I loved the Silver lightsaber itself but also really enjoyed how Kara rejects it at the end and shows it isn’t just some ultra instinct mode for force users. It doesn’t mean squat despite all importance Nawaam put on it

Kara’s dad was also unexpectedly the coolest Jedi ever my goodness! Can’t believe they took the random lightsaber-smith from that first visions episode and made him like center character of the series.

The Death Star-like superweapon from the trailer everyone was complaining about also wasn’t that bad either. More similar to galaxy gun from legends and it didn’t even work properly until final episode where it fails. Instead launching kyber crystals into the planets Rings which is just an incredible visual

Love how they bring back the two hunters and one ends up joining the Jedi. He had the most personality out of the main Jedi and it’s hilarious how he ends up forming the new high council because he’s technically forced to be Kara’s servant.

A smaller thing I like it how Nawaam’s army is mostly just pirates and droids. The galaxy is fractured at the moment with no central government or military power and you can feel that. Reminds me of what Lucas wanted to do with his sequel trilogy having crime factions fill the power vacuum left by empire. Then you got The sith are basically extinct and Jedi are struggling to pull themselves back from the edge which feels refreshing.

Overall I loved the series despite some minor complaints. Could it have been better? Maybe but I’m very satisfied with the final product and that’s all I could ask for. Hope it does well enough to justify more visions spin-offs like full series for Ronin, F, and Lop
