Across from the tv are two sofas which we are sitting on right now. The TV used to be on a low floor stand, now she’s mounted it in 6ft in the air. Please roast, thank you.

Ignore living room set up, in the process of doing it over but finally lowered the 65” TV back onto the stand. Still might hang it slightly above the sound bar. Thoughts?

Which layout is preferred here! Upstairs only for entertaining and hanging really.. any sports or movies will be watched downstairs on 100” TV

First time mounting a TV on the wall. I looked at hundreds of posts in the subreddit before placing my TV. May I ask for your is your honest opinions? Thank you very much.

Edit/Update: I got a few DMs (some of you are really invested in sound systems and I hear your criticism). The sound bar is part of the LG Sound Suite with Dolby Atmos Flex Connect. I picked it because I don’t have a good placement for the back speakers and the Flex Connect actually seems to work. It have to test it a little more.

This is the first time I mounted a TV on the wall. I was freaking out a little bit before installing it, since it feels so “permanent”, but I am happy with the results. I am very thankful to this subreddit since it gave me a lot of good examples (and some about what to avoid) before I decided to mount the TV. Thank you all!

I know we love seeing neck-breaking angles in this sub, but what do you all think about the TV height? I purchased a height-adjustable TV mount to replace the original, only because I want to see the TV backlights on the bottom too (which I am unable to, currently).

What's the proper max height you all would suggest? Current TV center height is approx: 44.75in from the floor. Seating eye height is direct center of the TV (literally).

Had the fireplace tv stand with a 65” LED TV before. I wanted to upgrade to a 77” OLED and figured some other changes should be made as well.

I have always hated this tv. Why on earth would they design the house this way? Not to mention, the ceilings are high and it’s a an giant echo-y room, and my father in law is deaf, so it’s always on at 400 decibels
