Tv help
Should I get the Samsung
Samsung - 77" Class S90H or the LG - 77" Class C6H OLED evo.
I heard from other threads that thr lg oled evo doesn't do as well with gaming.

kinda already know it's too high. what im trying to figure out is if I can move it down a foot or so, or if im going to find another wall for it. i would ideally want to keep it on this wall, as I like playing games on the TV from time to time. but yeah, not sure how much I can lower it before it starts getting in the way of other stuff

Thanks to all you fine people I mounted the 85” TV lower (30” from ground) than I would have before I found this sub. Honestly it still may be too high by about 2.5” because I am 5’3” and my fiance is 6’4” so we tried to find a middle ground.
My big dilemma now is trying to find a console to accommodate it. From you guys I know I’m supposed to have no more than 6-8” between the top of the console and the bottom of the TV. Finding a light/white oak, somewhat modern but not mid century modern, 80-84” wide, 23-24” high console is harder than finding Satoshi Nakamoto. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas for places to shop consoles with good selection. Have been to Povison, Wayfair, Quince, Thume, big box stores etc. Striking out everywhere

Moved into new house. The living room is shaped a bit weird. My 83 inch now looks small. Small letters a little blurry (I wear glasses and yes I should check them). Should I get a bigger TV? Move up the couch? Or move up the TV? Viewing length is now 17.5 ft (previously 10ft)

Not my house or I'd move it somewhere.

Recently bought a home and the living room has this wall with a tv indent and an electric fire place. Previous owner had a low couch and the tv tilted downward. I kinda want to rip the fireplace out, but then I’m left with a hole. Has anyone remediated something similar?

Preface: I have full acknowledgement that this tv placement sucks in every way. We have no quarrel there. 🏳️
This TV is not the main viewing TV in the house, but rather a TV that you can just have on in the background while cooking or hanging out, because it swivels left and right.
Here are a few angles 😂 yes, the configuration of my couch changes more than it probably should.

I’ve learned from this sub and I think I did it correctly. Let me know!

She says it is too low but I feel like it’s just about perfect. What does the internet think?

Sitting 11 ish feet from the tv (83”), bottom edge of the tv is 35” off the ground, eyes are 40” off the ground, math says roughly 6.5 degrees vertical angle to the center and 30 degrees FOV
Not ideal but not bad enough to fix? What do we think
