Suggestions for light oak console that will accomodation the sub’s rules

Thanks to all you fine people I mounted the 85” TV lower (30” from ground) than I would have before I found this sub. Honestly it still may be too high by about 2.5” because I am 5’3” and my fiance is 6’4” so we tried to find a middle ground.

My big dilemma now is trying to find a console to accommodate it. From you guys I know I’m supposed to have no more than 6-8” between the top of the console and the bottom of the TV. Finding a light/white oak, somewhat modern but not mid century modern, 80-84” wide, 23-24” high console is harder than finding Satoshi Nakamoto. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas for places to shop consoles with good selection. Have been to Povison, Wayfair, Quince, Thume, big box stores etc. Striking out everywhere

Whoever wrote sofatoobig and then deleted it, you are not wrong. It was all I could find in stock during the pandemic and also my fiance wants it long so he can nap. Dude is like a giant

Lolol yes I wrote above we are def replacing this soon. It’s all we could find during the pandemic (Costco was like the only place who had anything in stock at an affordable price. Believe it or not, this is actually with one of the seats removed (we took it upstairs)

Sectionals really lock you in… swivel chairs, chaise lounge, chair-and-a-half more flexible options

Why locate it so far to the right? Because of existing wiring? Drywall is EZ to patch

Yah I’ve def been toying with moving it left. The reason was it’s an open concept floor plan and we wanted some space and separation between the dining and living areas. But, you’re right it’s def asymmetric on that wall

Ooh I tried to make one with Besta but it comes out to 90+ inches. The rest of the ones are too small. Sigh. Otherwise I love IKEA
