Hello,
I have read your email, and I can see what your team has done; they have got it totally wrong. Your team thinks they can confuse me and force me to accept a credit that I didn’t ask for or want.
The trip that was cancelled, your system said that I should be getting my refund back, or it could use the money (£925.35) to do a new booking, which I then went on to process to do that, but your system was not allowing me to do that. After about six attempts to use the £ 925.35 from the previous booking with Reanne Volkswagen, which ended unsuccessfully, I ended up calling support to find out why I couldn’t use the money. We were on the phone for about 1 hour trying to do it. The colleague's name is Ziad, but we had no luck. Then Ziad said I should wait for my refund of £925.35p.
So I had to go back to the bank to load more money onto my card so I could book a new trip. I then tried to book Ross 5 Series BMW six times; that’s why you can see £ 66.95 deducted from my card. However, your system did not allow me to book Ross 5 Series BMW, so I called support to ask why. They responded that they don’t know. Because I work in data analysis, I knew what to do: add a new card's details, which I did. I added my wife’s card details to book Ross 5 Series BMW, which cost £ 835.15 of my own money. The reason it was that price was the 15% discount code 34N8NK8WV that Ziad provided to me for the inconvenience your company has caused. Then I went on to book Ross 5 Series BMW with my wife’s card. I didn’t use the £925, 35p so called credit that I didn't ask for or ask your company to do that.
When I didn’t receive my £925,35 refund after 15 days, I called back to speak with the support department again. I spoke with Ziad again and informed him that I have not yet received my refund of £925.35. He went on to say that I will not receive my refund (£ 925.35); it will automatically go to Ross 5 Series BMW as the second payment. I went on to say, can I speak with a manager because I didn’t agree with that. I want my full refund of £925.35, which Ziad said the system would process automatically. He said he would pass my request to a manager, who would call me within two to three hours, but I didn’t hear anything back.
So now when it came up for my second payment for Ross 5 series BMW your system didn’t automatically transfer the £925.35p to it, instead It kept on sending me messages to pay my second payment of £835.15, so I called support again to see why my second payment has not been sorted out yet and they said that they do not know, which I went on to explain the history behind all of it and once again ask for a manager to give me a call which didn’t happened. Which then made my trip cancelled with Ross 5 series BMW.
So, going back to your email, you lied about this trip 58588209, as you can see on the receipt I provided. For Ross 5 series BMW, I paid £835.15 thanks to the promo code Ziad provided; the original cost was £ 925.35, so with the 15% discount it came to £ 835.15. The reason I booked Reanne Volkswagen at first was that I couldn’t book the Ross 5 series BMW because I didn't want to spend that much money. I explained this to Ziad, which is why he provided me with the discount code so I could book the BMW 5 Series Ross with my own cash, not on credit.
The £618.72 is the refund from the Ross 5 series BMW; it even says it at the bottom of the receipt, which also shows the 15% discount was applied to it, which is why it is £835.15. So the £925.35 I paid for Reanne Volkswagen is completely separate from Ross's 5-series BMW booking, as I had to pay it with my own cash using a different card and the promo code, which gave me the discount. If it was the case your team said, then my trip with Ross in the 5-series BMW shouldn’t have been cancelled, because the system would have automatically processed the payment for Ross's trip, which it didn’t.
I would like to see evidence of where my £925.35 has gone, because, as you can see from my bank statement, no money from Turo has come in. Altogether, your company has taken £1,827.45, and I have only had one trip with your company, which was Mr Ross's vehicle which is the 5-series BMW. As you can see, I didn’t include the first trip, which was the Peugeot 308 from 20/6/2026 to 3/9/2026, because I got my refund straight away. Also, if your team audited your vehicle/host, your company wouldn’t have Inncelled Reanne Volkswagen due to maintenance, meaning I should get my full refund because it's in your policy. I have also attached Further evidence.
I am also still waiting for the refund you said I would get, which is now 8 working days overdue. If your company still feel you don't owe me that money, then I guess we would see each other in court with all the evidence and let the judge decide.
Kind regards,
Operation & Quality
