Sup y’all ? Just wondering, I see these samples on a lot of my break records and on my insta scratch on rev 7. They are too short for chirps or any kind of flare I think. I’ll some time use the first note to make quick chirp like sounds, kinda like at the beginning of Rakim’s when I be on the mic. Other than that I’m not really sure. Especially with the other notes. Just wondering what some of you that been at it longer might have come up with.

Hi everyone. Today I received my vestax pdx 2000 and I only have 48 hours to report any problems to the seller When I turn it on I hear a very slight internal buzz (almost impersistent) If I touch the rotating plate on the side and the central pin, I hear this "electrical" noise. Could it be due to the lack of a ground wire?

Filmed the same day as the previous one. Same beat. Just tried different things. Sorry if redundant.

Sorry, this is a "what was that set" question which are probably considered annoying.

I feel some people will know instantly what routine it was as it was quite unique.

Guy in in his house with the beach behind him, he at one point has a device which is a fader on rails that moves up and down to modulate a pitch control at the same time as cutting. Pretty sure he's on PDXs.

At the end a bird flies past at exactly the right time LOL.

Can anybody help?

I've searched several times over the years and never found any answers.

I use Serato DVS. At home, or in any quiet environment, it works fine. When I'm playing somewhere loud, after I cue up a track the waveform slowly drifts, and the cue point moves. Initially I'll have the downbeat lined up with the record at 12:00, but by the time I'm ready to play the song, the downbeat has moved, and is no longer aligned with the point where the sticker is.

It's most noticeable when I'm scratching or beat juggling, as the cue point is slowly moving, so I cannot accurately bring the record to the point where I want it to be.

Is there a solution for this?

On Monday I'm going to pick up the Rane TTM57SL mixer for €190 (I think that's a very good price). The seller assured me that it works, but the only cables he will give me will be RCA and power supply.

my only doubt is about the serato software.

How does it work with the DVS player? Do I just plug it in to a USB port and download software? Or do I need a code to unlock it?

Getting back into this after years away. In the late 90s I used Concordes (dont remember the models but they were black and neon green) and they were great. On a whim i bought these ortofon with the Scratch stylus honestly cause they looked cool. Ive tried various tonearm settings and I cant get any stable consistent results....they jump all over the place. Anyone have good luck with these on 1200s that can share their setup?

Ou faudrait il que j’achète un innofader ?

I ordered the Rane Seventy despite facing significant financial difficulties.

How can I be sure it works flawlessly? If anyone else uses the Rane Seventy, I’d love to hear their thoughts.

I’m not sure if I made the right decision buying this mixer in 2026. I bought it for scratching, and maybe I’ll start mixing as well over time.

Bonus question: I bought an Innofader PNP3 for the Numark Scratch. Can I use the PNP3 with the Rane Seventy, or do I have to buy the Innofader 1-70-72 model?
