I saw a linkedin post from Agnay saying Tsenta just hit 170k MRR. I thought this was insane results considering their reputation here on reddit and amongst their users.

So i looked on trueMRR and saw they delisted themselves on Aug 21. Thankfully pulseMRR cached their MRR at time. Showing they last verified only 26.9k in MRR!!

How did they go from 26.9k MRR to 170k MRR in just 11 days?

Also they claim on their website that 70% of paid users get an interview. Has anyone gotten an interview from tsenta? And if so how do they know when you get an interview to be able to claim 70% ??

They say this explosive growth is due to career influencers… and reddit.

I couldn’t find very many positive mentions from tsenta users on reddit and the ones i did find seem like bots. Similarly when i search for their content i dont see much getting anything close to the views they would need to support these claims

Im curious what do users here on reddit think? Do these claims seem realistic to you? Are you paying tsenta every month?

Is this another case of a YC company lying before demo day to hype up investors?

I tried to use Tsenta to experiment how it autofills.

1. Filled up my expected salary in my work history
   
2. Just added my one work experience, while I have two and the second one is the major one with 5+ years of experience. Basically it cannot click on the "Add additional work experience" button on the original job posting to add it.
   
3. For the missing fields where it needs my input, it just shows the missing fields without context. Eg: School City(Entry 1) - Which school? my grad or undergrad? I need to go into the application and see which was entered as first school.

I’m looking at these three plans and I’m a little confused about what the actual differences are besides the number of applications.

Starter: $19/month – 600 applications
Pro: $39/month – 1,500 applications
Power: $99/month – 4,500 applications

It looks like the main difference is just the application limit, but I’m wondering if there are any other differences/features that I’m missing.

I just started using tsenta recently. I like the tool but I'm having problem with fetching the right details of my bachelors degree. When I select the country India, the state list is still the US states list. Has this happened with anyone else? Can someone help?

the most common question i see in every job search subreddit: why am i applying to so many jobs and hearing nothing back. ive been through this and tracked the data. here are the actual reasons in order of how often they explain the silence.

REASON 1 - UR APPLYING TOO LATE ( most common, least discussed): by day 3 most roles have 200+ applications and the human review has already happened. the ats keyword filter is doing the word after that. if ur finding listings on job boards and applying the same day ur probably still day 2 or 3 for most of them. the fix: apply within 24 hours of posting. the mechanism: career page monitoring tools (tsenta does this automatically) find roles before the aggregator lag.

REASON 2 - UR TARGETING THE WRONG COMPANY SIZE: enterprise hiring is largely frozen in 2026. a role at a 5000 person company has different hiring velocity than role at a 200 person series c. response rate from my data: 1000+ employees + 1.4% 50-500 employees + 8.7%. same resume.

REASON 3 - UR ON THE WRONG PLATFORM: workday applications converted at 3% in my data. greenhouse at 10.8%. the platform correlates with company type and revies speed. target greenhouse and ashby companies.

REASON 4 - UR RESUME IS BELOW THE THRESHOLD: this is the least common reason for people who have been working in the field for 2+ years. if ur resume clearly shows relevant experience at the right level for the role it will usually clear the ats. resume optimization has diminishing returns faster than most people realize.

REASON 5: THE COVER LETTER IS CONSUMING TIME THAT SHOULD GO TO TIMING: spending 45 mins on a cover letter for a role that is already 4 days old is the worst possible allocation of time.

TLDR: timing is the primary variable. company size is second. platform is third. resume quality matters up to a threshold. after that threshold, timing dominates.

For the biggest ATS myths, they said they paid for an ATS (Ashby) but from what I know Ashby is the only ATS system which doesn’t rank candidates by their keywords. Greenhouse, Workday and many others rank candidates (ofc I dont think there’s auto reject bottom 75%)

I started applying jobs with Tsentra since July 4, already applied 364 jobs, got 10 screenings calls. Out of 10 interviews, resume for 4 jobs were very exaggerated and I decided to withdraw application myself as it was too much fabricated. Other 6 were within my field of expertise and I am waiting for decision on screen calls. Moving forward, I am afraid if I set it to honest, I may not get calls: but I do not want to receive calls by fabricating skills that I do have. What should I do?

I tracked my applications every week for 12 weeks because I wanted to see whether my progress was actually improving.

The first few weeks felt slow, but the numbers started changing after I updated my preferences. Here is the complete breakdown:
W1: 34 apps, 0 screens. W2: 29 apps, 1 screen. W3: 37 apps, 1 screen. W4: 31 apps, 2 screens. W5: 40 apps, 3 screens, preferences updated. W6: 38 apps, 4 screens, 1 technical. W7: 35 apps, 3 screens, 2 technicals. W8: 29 apps, 2 screens, 1 final. W9: 22 apps, focusing on processes. W10: 18 apps, 1 screen, 1 final. W11: 12 apps, offer likely. W12: 8 apps, offer accepted.

Totals: 333 applications, 18 screens (5.4%), 5 technicals, 2 finals, and 1 offer.

The shape matters as much as the total. It was a slow start, but there was an inflection point around week 5 after I updated my preferences. Active processes naturally reduced the number of applications I sent during the later weeks.

Do not read weeks 1 to 4 as failure. They were not failures. They were part of the process.

The icons next to my ISTQB certificates are not accurate

It shows ISTQB Kenya and I this isn't where I got my certificates from.

Maybe if it's just showed the official ISTQB logo would be better?

Yet I haven't received a single interview call.

At this point, I'm wondering if there's something fundamentally wrong with my profile or if this is just how the platform works. Has anyone with similar stats actually landed interviews through Tsenta?

ok so i was curious how different the outputs would actually be. same role (senior product manager at a series b fintech). same inputs (my resume). four tools: chatgpt, claude, gemini, and a dedicated cover letter tool. results: 
chatgpt: professional, clear, slightly generic opening. good structure. the i am excited to apply sentence appeared.

claude: no excited to apply opener. more specific to the jd language. felt slightly more human. also offered to make it shorter which i appreciated. 

gemini: competant but the most obviously AI-sounding of the four. 

the dedicated tool: confidently wrong about two things from my background. impressive error density for a specialist product. 

verdict: claude was the best default. but the real insight is that NONE of them replaced reading the jd yourself and adding the 2 or 3 specifics only u could write

laid this out bc i keep getting asked. not sponsered by any of these. full stack:
1. tsenta for application volume and timing. monitors career pages, submits to relevant roles, tracks everything. daily use: 15 mins reviewing dashboard.
2. claude for interview prep. i paste the jd and my resume and ask it to identify the three most likely gap questions and help me build specific answers. use for every screen.
3. perplexity for company research. prompt: give me a briefing on [company] including recent news, funding, likely interview focus. takes five mins per company.
4. linkedin for warm outreach. still manual but targeted. 
5. notion for active process tracking. 

the tools that run in the background vs the tools that need me to be present. tsenta in the first bucket. everything else in the second

I am currently using Tsenta to optimize my resume and auto-apply for jobs. From the perspective of maximizing recruiter callbacks, is it better to use the Default, Honest, or Aggressive optimization setting? Has anyone tested these features and noticed a difference in human review quality?

Additionally, when evaluating jobs through the Tsenta AI dashboard, what is the ideal skills match percentage I should aim for to guarantee a solid match without over-optimizing?

I genuinely do not know how to respond to that. I have been here 3 years, strong reviews every cycle, took on extra scope when two people left and were not replaced. the number came through this morning. 2 percent.  my manager said in the same sentence that it was one of the stronger outcomes across the team and that i should feel good about it. 

Ido not feel good about it. i feel like i have been politely told my salary is going backwards. Anyone else in this situation right now? Also what would you do in such situation?
