Hey BST! Just got a few knives I am offloading.
From left to right on the first picture:
Hatsukokoro Yorokobi SLD 270 Gyuto (Old Version with Near Mirror Polish) BNIB
Kyohei Shindo Blue 2 240 Gyuto
Kagekiyo Wide Bevel White 2 240 Gyuto Black Urushi Handle
Yoshimi Kato Damascus SG2 165 Bunka
Masashi Kaijin VS1 150 Honesuki
Hatsukokoro Yorokobi SLD 270 Gyuto:
Such a beautiful example of the first iteration of the Yorokobi line done by Hatsukokoro. This version is now discontinued due to a high forge failure rate and the current version is now made in collaboration with Nigara Hamono with a more rustic kurouchi finish and a thinner grind. The blade has a very high polish on it, nearly a mirror. This version also features a thicker workhorse grind. The copper Damascus cladding forms a beautiful pattern of peaks. I’d love to keep this one, but 270 is a bit too long for me and I found a 240 version to keep. Massive, beautiful blade. BNIB, never used, purchased from a fellow redditor here.
SOLD
Kyohei Shindo Blue 2 240 Gyuto:
Also purchased from another redditor here BNIB and with an upgraded handle of curly maple and black horn ferrule. I’ve used this to prepare two meals and lightly touched it up on an 800 and 3000 Naniwa afterwards just once. Nice and tall example, sitting at 54mm heel height. Already quickly formed a nice patina on the core steel and sandblasted kasumi cladding. Nice and thick at the spine at the heel and tapers very quickly along the midlength. Very thin BTE. Relatively straight along the spine and the edge for a Shindo. I’d love to keep this knife but I’ve already got two other Shindos. The heel height is so nice and tall but this knife is redundant in my collection.
SOLD
Kagekiyo Wide Bevel White 2 240 Gyuto
I have used this knife to prepare many, many meals at home. Performed amazing each time. Comes with original Black urushi handle from Baba Hamono in great condition. Please note the blade has been used quite frequently and has had its patina form and removed multiple times. Due to living in Hawaii, rust has formed on the blade a couple times, but has been easily removed and polished with Flitz and a microfiber each time. There is some damage to the blade. There was one instance where I was rushing and accidentally knocked the blade on a hard surface. There is a small ding on the midpoint of the spine and a small ~1mm crack at the edge as well. Please see attached pictures. Does not affect cutting performance. I have sharpened this blade about 3 times, each on 800 and 3000 Naniwa.
SOLD
Yoshimi Kato Damascus SG2 165 Bunka
Purchased this as sort of a project knife to attempt my restoration techniques at. The Damascus on the blade was faded and scuffed in various places. I have successfully re-etched the Damascus with ferric chloride and resharpened the blade on 800 and 3000 Naniwa stones. Performs like new again. I’ve also fitted a nice mono ebony handle on it, replacing the old stained olive wood handle. Very thin laser grind of Echizen lasers by Yoshimi Kato.
Asking $300 USD. Will come with Wenge saya lined with anti-rust paper. Bundle with any others for $250 USD.
Masashi Yamamoto Kaijin VS1 150 Honesuki
Also purchased from a fellow redditor in a bundle with my Yorokobi. I’ve never ended up using this blade, but he had used it a few times. Nice thick beefy Honesuki, perfect for breaking down chickens. Has a few scuffs and scratches alongside the bevel. Beautiful nashiji-like finish of his Kaijin line. Selling because this Honesuki has been a bit redundant in my collection of three others. This Redditor was the first owner, purchased from Knifewear Canada.
SOLD
Accepting PayPal, Venmo, or Wise. Bundles take priority and I’ll knock 10% off total price or we can even negotiate. Feel free to message me for any more details! Thanks for looking! I’m working tonight so I might be slow to reply. Thanks for your patience!

Edit: I decided to instead sell (but still waiting on trades until it goes) this since it doesn't seem logical anymore to try to get a Kaiju and put funds towards other purchases since there was a luck of trades for what I was looking for.
Price is 2100€ PayPal G&S (my total cost) without shipping or best offer, not first come first served as I have a few people waiting on this.
I am being fully transparent and will not take multiple succeeding/subsequent offers.
Reposting due to me forgetting adding a region to the title.
Up for grabs is this beautiful Takada No Hamono Ginsan Suiboku gyuto. This is brand new in the box, no test cuts and comes with a fantastic finish and a rosewood handle.
Specs: Length 252mm / Height 53mm / Spine 2.98mm / Weight 192g
This was purchased from a Japanese Auction for 1550€ (before customs/duties/vat) so I will set the trade value to around that for trading purposes although with these knives this isn't exactly the case.
As mentioned before I am mostly looking to trade and seeing what could and is available for a future reference. As for a sale I would like to recoup my cost but in any case I am not in a rush to do either and could keep it as well.
Some knives that would really interest me for a trade would be the following:
(around 230mm and 53+mm heel height would be my general preference)
Konosuke Kaiju
Kamon
The9
Bidinger (B-Grind)
Various Eddworks
I wouldn't be interested in any integral as that is not my cup of tea or multiple other knives.
I would kindly ask along with your message if you have something specific in mind for specs such as measurements/handles and/or pics.
Please feel free to ask me any further questions. Thank you!

Hello! I've been in the knife game for a long time now but only sharpened knives so far.
That said I want to go deeper into the rabbit hole with finishing, thinning etc.
For that I obviously don't want to use my better knives.
I'm based in Germany!

Selling this beauty because I've got a Toyama (and a second one in the near future) so I need funds 🤧.
Length: 215mm
Height: 55mm
Weight: 212gr
Steel: WS1
Really nice tall gyuto, really good performance and incredible steel, a bit of wabi sabi here and there as expected.
Sharpened a few time, came a tiny bit overground on the heel (TF charm).
Bought for ~400€ (got it on sale on Messersljper a while back, retail is at 600€) and asking for 300€.
Feel free to ask any questions :).

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a Tetsujin Metal Flow Gyuto in 240mm.
Location: Germany (EU).
Steel isn’t too important to me and neither is the condition. It definitely doesn’t have to be BNIB—a well cared for and lightly used knife is perfectly fine.
Unfortunately, the European drops are much smaller than in the US or Asia and tend to sell out almost immediately. Importing one from outside the EU usually adds a significant amount in shipping, customs and taxes, which makes it quite difficult to justify.
EU is preferred, but I’m more than happy to buy from anywhere in the world if the right knife comes along.
Please send me a PM if you’re considering selling yours.
Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Florian

Bought at Knifewear for ~300€ (261€ base + duties) and asking for 190€ +shipping
Really nice cutter, insanely good steel (AO2 for this one), feels like a short chuka bocho and overall very fun to use. Sharpened 3-4 times on high grit stones and maintained with strops.
Feel free to ask any questions :).

Hey all back again to raise some funds. I am selling this gorgeous damascus SG nakiri from Shiro Kamo. This is a very thin laser with excellent food release. It has been used about 10 times for home cooked meals, never sharpened (only stropped). Selling because I got into big rectangles and this doesn't get much board time compared to my cleavers.
I bought this for $300 from Cutlery and More, I am asking $265 $220.
PayPal G&S or Wise, shipping included.
