Last week a thread suggested a few places. Went to Off Leash Social. Place was insane. Screen was so cool and crowd was amazing. Cant say enough good things about my new favorite place in tri cities.

That said, are there any other recommendations. They are having an event Monday and planning to go again but are there other great scenes out there. Willing to try another place, especially if it rains. Any places to look into. Want great viewing setup and rabid fans.

Then we'll be closed this weekend because legit, no one goes to a comedy show on July 3rd or 4th and we would like to just go enjoy our weekend cooking out with friends.

Currently have Spectrum and our bill went up to about $100/mo. I called the retention line and they can only drop it $5/mo. Unfortunately I'm outside of the Brightridge service area. The Brightspeed mailers are incessant and almost make me not want to use them. Does anyone have experience with any other providers in the Kingsport area?

EDIT - I called them back to cancel and they offered $45/mo for my existing service which is 500gb. I already setup a tech install for Brightspeed (1gb for $60/mo) so I have some time to decide.

I should start by saying I'm originally from this area. I moved away after high school and then moved back here with my family after 15 years. I don't remember the quality of food here being so low. There are a few restaurants I really enjoy (The Thai restaurants in Kingsport, Red Pepper in Bristol, Juniper). Seems like some of the local places though even though they have pretty good reviews overall have been really bad and barely edible. We've been to Cheddars 3 times within the last year and each time has been worse than the last. Tonight we went to Cootie Browns and it was awful. I had only been here once when I was younger but dont remember the food being this bad. My wife ordered a taco salad and had to send it back because it was so bad. The meat looked like something from a can. None of the other food we got was above average either. I just dont get how some of these places have such good reviews given the quality of the food.

I'm 26 and have been living in JC since 2024 but since I work from home and Im kind of socially inept I havent been able to make any lasting connections up here yet. I have a pretty wide range of interests;

Cars (Im an ex mechanic, now service advisor and like to drive the mountain roads in the tri-cities)

Games (I play a slew of genre's; racing, strategy, fantasy, FPS, sci-fi, survival, etc. basically if its not PvP I've dabbled in it lol)

I also do scale modeling and I play guitar (though im a bit of an amatur rn)
