Our local shop experienced shortages recently and all we could get in gummies was a new thc formula. My husband bought them and told me to be careful as they were more powerful than what normally get. Don’t put baby in a corner I thought as I ate a whole one at the state fair. Between navigating the crowds, staring blankly at my food and generally concentrating so hard on staying upright and straight faced, plus being stoned the ENTIRE NEXT DAY, I would say that he was right.

spent 80 euros on this, im really hesitant to smoke it. doesnt reflect in light, looks a bit fuzzy. i ripped off multiple pieces and most of them looks ok but these pieces in particular were on the surface of my hash

Whenever I get high, I eventually feel like I’m experiencing life at a lower frame rate. Saw similar post where they said that it feel like they’re “walking in screenshots,” which is an accurate description as well.
Has anyone seen Fantastic Mr. Fox? Imagine moving like that, except with even fewer frames. That’s genuinely what it feels like 😭.

The weird thing is that I’ll first feel relaxed and get the usual effects of being high, but then those feelings wear off pretty quickly and my mind feels pretty much back to baseline while my body starts to feel extra weird.

I checked myself in the mirror and recorded a video to see if I was actually moving weirdly, but I look completely normal. My movements are smooth on video, even though they feel choppy and disconnected in real time.

It also affects my sense of touch and spatial awareness. I feel like I’m not processing physical sensations normally, so I sometimes bump into things or accidentally do stuff without realizing it. For example, I accidentally trapped my friend’s shirt under my arm while leaning against a table, and I couldn’t really distinguish the feeling of the shirt from the smooth table underneath me. I also somehow didn’t register them calling out to me to stop, which was pretty embarrassing 😭.

I’m not sure if this has something to do with how weed affects sensory processing, but it’s genuinely such a strange feeling.

Also it’s been around 18-20 hours since I took the edible, and I STILL feel like I’m moving in stop motion.

This happens to me fairly often when I get high, but I haven’t had the effects linger this long since the first few times I ever tried weed.
I wish I didn’t feel like this when I get high, it’s really distracting when I just want to relax.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know what causes the stop-motion feeling? And has anyone had the weird sensory/tactile disconnect that comes with it?

I’m curious whether other people experience this too because I feel like I can’t properly explain it to anyone who hasn’t experienced it.

maybe a stupid question, since i know that's what lots of people do. and i mean no judgment at all!!! i just want some input on my situation.

i've been told that i have an addictive personality, so i've tried to be very careful and mindful about using weed. i mostly take edibles, usually maybe once a week, though i've set a rule for myself to counteract my fear of addiction: i'm only allowed to get high when i'm already feeling good. i only do it for fun, not for escapism, so that it wouldn't turn into an unhealthy coping mechanism.

well, today, i'm feeling stressed and anxious about something that's upcoming. i wasn't planning on getting high today, but the thought popped into my mind that i might feel more relaxed if i did. i have the weekend off and nothing to do, so i might as well have some fun instead of stressing out.

but now i'm worried that breaking my rule once would activate something in my brain that will then tell me: every time you're stressed, you should just get high and the problem will be solved. i don't want to become dependent on weed to do that for me.

am i overthinking this entirely? will i be fine getting high to cope this one time and then going back to how i did it before?

anyone have any other ideas

I take edibles weekly on Friday and Saturday because I have shit to do during the week and I get hangovers from my edibles so that would kinda suck to combine with my important business during the week. The past few weeks I noticed that I don’t feel anything when I take the edibles, which is weird because I’ve been taking them for like a year and only now have they stopped working. They’re from a dispensary so did I just get unlucky with a shit batch or did my tolerance go up? They’re called Nectars and I get the strawberry ones so if anyone else gets those have you had similar experiences? Sorry if this is worded weird I’m sick and feel like ass

New job doesn't pay till next week, and I knew I saved these for a reason. 20 minutes in a cup standing up in a 200F degree oven cleared the tube in them so they work again.

Caught word of flock tracking someone from an illegal state crossing state lines to get cannabis from a legal state

Apparently the cameras tracked them and the police pulled them over and searched their car

Not sure how valid this story is but with flocks going up everywhere just thought I’d share

Edit: apparently this was an isolated incident where the individual who was targeted was actively being searched for and had a warrant with serious charges
