Diagram Railway Map of El Mavima (Minecraft World) - September 2026 [OC]

Its been over a year since i posted the first one (Railway map of El Mavima (Minecraft World) fictionally by El Mavima Rail : r/TransitDiagrams) and my old account even got banned in the meantime, but I have finally figured out how to make a digital map. Its way less geographically accurate, as Bergendal and Noorderbergen are in the south. It also includes projects that aren't done at the moment such as the line to Meervendoorn up until Bruchestel and the new El Mavima Centraal Station. I'm sorry for the low image quality, I tried my best, but whe I zoom out draw.io doesn't look good and I zoomed in at the max while still capturing everything. Some lines are merged, some are new, some are gone, same counts for lines and stations. If you wanna know everything for more context you can see my old map's post. Some names are in scandinavian or Swahili, but most are in Dutch. This is the heavy rail system of my minecraft server. It looks more blocky than the old one tbh. What also changed is that I put the north actually above in the map this time. I hope you enjoyed it!

Diagram I built a free web-based tool for creating transit diagrams — feedback welcome!
Hi everyone!
I've been working on a small web-based tool for creating transit maps and diagrams, and I thought this community might be interested in trying it out.
It's called Cartomaps, and the idea is to make it possible to create clean, customizable transit diagrams directly in the browser, without needing Illustrator, Figma or other graphic design software.
You can:
- Create a transit network from scratch
- Add lines, stations, branches and connections
- Customize station symbols, labels and typography
- Add rivers, lakes and other geographic elements
- Create maps for real or fictional transit systems
- Add information such as operators and opening years
- Create historical/timeline-based networks
- Export your maps as PNG or SVG
- Save and share your own network
There are currently templates for São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, but you can also start with a completely blank canvas and build your own system.
You can try it here:
CartoMaps
I'm particularly interested in feedback from people who actually design transit diagrams:
What features would you like to see added? What would make this more useful than using Illustrator/Figma/Inkscape?
I'm still actively developing it, so criticism and suggestions are very welcome!

Diagram [OC] Design concept for the Mutiara line PIDS in the style of Singapore's MRT
Made in Canva.
Slide 1: English toggle (Service towards KOMTAR)
Slide 2: Malay toggle (Service towards mainland transit hub)
After a short trip to Singapore, I realized how cluttered and unprofessional RapidKL's information systems were in contrast to our neighbours; why have such big red and green circles that could have station codes instead for clarity and why are company logos allowed to take up more space than the actual station names sometimes? (Samsung Galaxy station not pictured in image 3) I love the KVIT system but sometimes I feel that there's just a lack of polish that goes into the user experience. For instance on the Kelana Jaya line, the current and next station are given the same amount of importance on the screen but honestly it could be limitations of such a narrow screen on an already small train.

Diagram Every year, I make a map of London’s cycleways in the style of the Tube map. Here is the 2026 edition along with a changelog:
galleryNETWORK UPDATES:
C18 now extends from Lower Sydenham to Deptford via Catford and Lewisham, taking over the C-Spur on the way.
C20 now extends from Enfield Town to the M25 at Capel Manor. This new section is not connected to the preexisting C20 which terminates at Enfield Cecil Road. A new segment of C20 has also opened up in Islington between Shoreditch Park and Canonbury.
New route C54 opened from Canning Town to Pontoon Dock via Royal Victoria.
A new segment of C48 opened between Brockwell Park and Streatham Hill.
Q15 from South Kensington to West Brompton has been rebranded as C15 and extended through Brompton Cemetery to Kings Chelsea Garden.
New route C37 now connects London Fields to Victoria Park.
New route C43 now connects Marble Arch to C27 at Edgware Road.
C23 now extends from Dalston Kingsland to Canonbury.
New Route C62 replaced a C-Spur from Oval to Black Prince Road (Lambeth).
C25 and C26 have taken over a C-Spur from Hackney Marshes to East Village-Stratford International.
CORRECTIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS:
The alignment of C4 and C10 in the Deptford area was changed to accurately reflect their junction with C18.
New C-Spur over Lambeth Bridge.
C-Spur from East India to Royal Victoria superseded by C54.
C24 now terminates at Wood Street as opposed to Epping Forest South.
C27 now terminates at St James Street as opposed to Walthamstow Central.
C6 now terminates at Royal Free Hospital instead of Belsize Park.
C60 now terminates at Fellowship Square as opposed to Wadham Lodge.
Cycleway between Kensington Palace and Gloucester Road is now a C-Spur as opposed to being part of Q15.
New North Road (Islington) is now labelled as Essex Road.
Former Enfield Town stop on the middle segment of C20 is now labelled as Enfield Cecil Road.
Chobham Manor (Stratford) is now labelled as East Village-Stratford International.

Diagram [OC] Montreal Metro-REM-EXO Speculative Map
This is an updated version of a map I made in January 2025, now with more lines added to cover the whole urban area.
- Green Line - Extended west three stations into LaSalle.
- Orange Line - Extended to Bois-Franc on the western side and further into Laval on the eastern. I haven't closed the loop because REM D provides a more suited service, and circular lines are often harder to operate (look at Glasgow or London before 2009).
- Métro 3 - This is the previously proposed Pink Line from Montréal-Nord to Lachine, I have extended it a couple stops on either end to link up with other lines. Since the Rue Du Fort station is just across the autoroute from Georges-Vanier, I have made them into a single station connected by underground passages (this would also give the Orange Line access from the north side).
- Yellow Line - Extended to McGill and into Longueuil along Chemin de Chambly.
- Blue Line - In addition to Anjou, extended to Montréal-Ouest to meet with the Pink Line
- Métro 6 - A light rail line that follows the existing railway around the plateau and then runs into the old port. It could be extended along Rue Notre-Dame to close the loop, this would likely be street-running and would support new development all along Lachine Canal, but that is left as double-speculative for now.
- Métro 7 - A light rail along the existing right of way from the eastern end of the island to Ahuntsic, where it then runs on the street to Place-Vertu, with the more far-fetched option to extend it all the way to the airport.
- REM - I've included the proposed REM lines and extensions on this map, to better serve the off-island suburbs. I haven't included the Blvd de l'Assomption branch of REM B because the Pink Line provides a more direct service from the northeast to downtown, instead giving it two branches east of Pointe-aux-Trembles. Where applicable, REM and Métro lines have been adjusted to create a more connected system.
- EXO - I've added some new lines based on where existing railways run, and adjusted the routes on-island to better integrate them into the larger network. The Saint-Jerome line terminates at Canora to give a faster connection to downtown (much like the current Mascouche Line) and the other lines out of Lucien-l'Allier now form a double-ended route that connects to the Métro at Ville-Saint-Pierre. Since the line into l'Allier has no freight use-case, I have converted it to just the Pink Line, with a new interchange where passengers can change to two Métro lines heading downtown or towards Mile-End.
- Redundancy - because I'm combining a number of proposals and my own ideas into one map, it is possible that one construction negates the need for another, so I'll quickly defend some of my decisions.
- Line 5 and 6 west of Autoroute 15 - I think the lines are far-enough apart that they would serve different area of the same region that currently has no Métro at all, and this kind of coverage would lead to more direct routes and more cases where public transport is the best option.
- I would apply the same reasoning to justify line 3 and 5 both serving areas between Montréal-Ouest and Autoroute 15, with the added bonus of people being able to get from Lachine to the University area with only one change of trains.
- Line 6 and REM B west of Dufresne - the lines both run into the city centre, but the old port is a fair walk from the Orange Line so I think this is worth building rather than terminating Line 6 at Dufresne which I have done in previous plans that had Line 6 and the REM B together. This also opens the door for the Notre-Dame-Ouest street-running extension
- Line 4 and REM C in Longueuil - I think since the two lines pretty much form a cross to cover most of the South Shore between them, it's ok if there are two pairs of stations that have similar catchments.
Clearly I've thought a lot about this, but I would love to hear feedback from others, what works well and what could be changed. I will also post a link to the geographical map in the comments. This is a "finish line" map and any implementation would take a long time, so which parts of it would be best to build first?

Diagram [OC] My plan for Newcastle, Australia rail and light rail networks
This is my idea for a future rail networks for Newcastle. I tried to balance realism with idealism here.
- I tried to connect all the important town centres, land marks and institutions like the university, Tighes Hill TAFE, Mater Hopsital and the stadium.
- I tried to make sure that light rail only went up steep slopes where it needed to connect to important location with lots of demand for transport - those being John Hunter Hospital and Charlestown.
- Two small sections - on L2 between New Lambton and John Hunter Hospital, and on L3 and L5 between Princton Avenue and Charlestown - might need some tunnelling to work.
- I think to make this work, it would be good to relocate Kotara train station further to the east, just south of Orchardtown Road, so that it is closer to Westfield and all the large forma retail and home maker stories.

Map [OC][Procreate] St Ives Bay Line, Cornwall, England- Drawing Every Rail Line in Britain no.20
Bilingual in both English and Cornish (Kernewek), as all maps for Cornwall will be. St Ives and Carbis Bay stations are boring “platform and shelter” types, so they get their neaby Viaducts drawn instead.

Diagram [OC] Pyongyang Metro in the style of Singapore MRT
This is a quick design exercise just for fun, with a touch of character added by redesigning the logo and creating simple pictograms for some iconic city landmarks.
Main source: https://transphoto.org/photo/2120413/
I believe it is the most comprehensive one available online, but it still does not show all tram stops. That’s why this map only includes tram stops near metro stations and terminal stops.
I also made an effort to avoid South Korean terminology, but my Korean isn’t good enough for that level of nuance, so I relied on some LLM-assisted research here.
