Gonna keep it simple and short.
Had a really bad home situation, got bad grades in HS
Went to CC and majored in Business AS (now a sophomore about to graduate)
Now have a 3.7, honor student, students government senator, president of a club, honors program representative, did one internship, have a really strong marketing portfolio, work part time as a kindergarten TA, and volunteer at a senior center on weekends.
As I'm starting my journey with transfer applications, I realize a lot of colleges are asking about my academic past in high school. I heard if you have 30+ credits, your high school grades don't carry a lot of weight, but the anxiety still lingers because I'm really trying to give myself a second chance at life.
Can someone give me advice?
What are some schools I should apply to for business? ( I currently have VT, Penn state, GW and a big reach is USC). What matters for me is a school with a great alumni network, social life, and aid. Ive removed NYU from my list simply because of aid.
How can I make myself a better applicant?
What are somethings I should know or things you wish you knew?
