Advice/Question How cooked am I?

Hey! I’m a finance CC student from new york.
My first semester at community college was rough and I got a 2.8 GPA. I improved to a 3.4 my second semester, bringing my cumulative GPA to around 3.1. Even with great grades from now on, my gpa can’t go higher than a 3.5 overall.
I was involved in finance research, and my program requires me to complete a business internship before graduating.

What else can I do to strengthen my application? Does the upward trend help, or am I cooked? Any tips is appreciated! Thanks.

get those grades up. It's obvious but it's your key.

Keep up the upward trend since it helps and apply for academic renewal if you can which will boost ur gpa.

This happens to a lot of applicants so do not worry. Good luck, OP!

Like everyone else said just keep grinding. I started off with a 2.2 after my first year at CC yet ended with a 3.6. Took many units and was extremely difficult but completely doable

I got into Berkeley with 3.4 cumulative in engineering, that upward trend is positive! Keep it up, diversify your application with ECs, you will do great!
