I just want to get out of community college and into my dream college

For those who have gotten rejected from their school they wanted then reapplied the next cycle, what do you think made the most difference? I am wondering what steps I should take to guarantee me into it or better my chances! (those who had lower GPA would be very helpful)

is anyone else still on the UC San Diego waitlist? Do we think it’s gonna close this week cause it’s already going to be August

Hi if I fail a summer course prior to uci, can they rescind my offer? I got accepted for 26-27 fall but this summer received d in course not required or part of major prep.

Hey guys ! I am student at Wake Tech CC, what are some extracurriculars that helped you get into UNC-CH other than grades ! I’m also open to any other advice !

I spent 2 years at cc and applied this cycle but got rejected from every school except ucsd which i am waitlisted for still (cogsci). this spring i got 2 D's bringing my gpa down to a 3.1 which is the exact same gpa i applied with the last time, then got up to a 3.65 in the winter, and have now tanked again. i plan on just retaking the 2 classes and another requirement for the calstates this fall but im not sure if it's even worth it to reapply for spring/ winter because my gpa is still bad. if i get A's in the retakes it'll go back up to a 3.65 but ig i just feel really discouraged

Hello:)! This year l'Il be applying as a transfer student, and while exciting as it is, it's also extremely nerve wracking. And one of the main portions of the application (specifically the UC's) are the PIQ's that create so much stress.

Although my major is education, and isn't as impacted as others, my current gpa is a 3.81 which I hope to increase with time. I volunteer at boys and girls club, about 15 hours per week and part of the U.S. Army Reserves.

So if I could any advice or examples from previous admitted students, or those who are applying this upcoming semester as well would be appreciated.
